No air conditioning in 30 degree heat, street noise noisy and concert outside so we could not open windows. No water in the room - when we asked for ice, we had to to down and they gave us a glass of ice. Tiny elevators and many stairs in complex levels as well, very difficult with luggage and a husband... Just returned home from Copenhagen after a 4 day break with Mum and 2 nieces. Having booked this hotel on a budget and being slightly concerned by some of the reviews posted I though I'd review the hotel. Staff, couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant, nothing was too much trouble and all spoke very good English. Breakfast, really good... More

We were looking for a place to stay in Copenhagen and we walked by the Ascot and went inside to ask for a room. We were met by two uninterested women at the reseption desk. With their mouths full of food they told us the hotel was full and that they did not accomodate dogs( we had a small dog... More

I have stayed at this hotel so many times during business trips to Copenhagen. The rooms are extremely different. Sometimes I have been incredibly lucky and received up-grades to the most spacious and modern rooms. On other occasions I have been allocated tiny room on top floor level - freezing cold with bad windows. The breakfast is very good. The... More

Arrived at the hotel on a thursday afternoon at about 1 o'clock. A very polite gentleman in the reception told us that our room would be ready in about an hour, but they had a luggage room where we could put our baggage until it was ready so that we could go and have some food in the meantime. The... More

These apartments and spread over a number of buildings. Access to Reception was up a number of stairs. The staff at reception were abrupt and not very helpful at all. We arrived before check-in time and were directed down more stairs to leave our luggage. No help from staff at all. On returning we again had to drag our bags... More

No AC so be prepared for some warm nights if you are there in July. Ask for a room away from the street so you can have your window open. They will bring you a fan if you ask. Rooms are small and so are the beds. Staff was friendly, but overall it would not get my vote. 20 minutes... More

You are a few minutes from Tivoli, Ströget, Central station,Kings Garden and most places. 20 min walk from Nyhavn. Very good breakfast! hot, cold, fruits etc and quick refills. We had an 58 sqm apartment that served 4 adults. Very comfortable. Also good with hotel parking for DKK 195/ day. Staff very nice, helpful and check in in/out went very fast.Book... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, booked through an agent after a cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Copenhagen so disappointed with the choice of accommodation. In it's favour, the location made walking convenient, to many sites & attractions. The breakfast included in our room booking, very good, but a 4 star Hotel & Spa, as advertised it is not, the... Great location, walking distance to Tivoli and all the downtown attractions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived early but our room was ready which was a bonus. The rooms are small and dated but that is quite normal in European City hotels. The room was clean, but the lack of air conditioning made the room very hot.... More
