Let's get straight to it -- the Marriott is meant for the cruise ship hordes and business travelers. That said, it's also located right along the water, where you can, in summer, watch brave Danes swimming in the brisk waters as you sip a cocktail, thankful that you come from a country with warmer outdoor swimming weather, at least some... We stayed for a week and loved the hotel. Because I am a platinum, we had access to the lounge and was a good lounge! Location is fantastic, as well as the service. The staff was very helpful. A definitive recommendation.

The lobby, bar, restaurant and outdoor areas are all very nice and possibly worth the 5 star rating, however the room we had was disappointing (room 851). It just appeared old fashioned and not up to a 5 star standard. The service at check-in was done by a person not able to speak Danish (or Scandinavian) which seems weird being... More

We were taking a cruise out of Copenhagen and decided to add on three days at the front end of our cruise. We selected the Marriott Copenhagen as it is a Worldwide Chain known for good rooms and good service and is close to many attractions in the area. We took a taxi from the airport and the fare was... Good hotel with modern facilities. Rooms were large with all necessary facilities. Situated a little outside the main tourist areas, but has a hop on hop off bus stop outside. Reasonably close to a excellent shopping centre which had several food outlets. Wi fi in the rooms was very expensive and the free service in the lobby was not secure.... More

This hotel looks like any other Marriott you might see in any large city. The room was big and comfortable. The bed as always was extremely comfortable. My big complaint is withe the bathrooms. The towels were thin and rough. To get extra towels you had to ask several times. To get into the shower, you had to be a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. It is a short walk from Central station and Tivoli Gardens. We had a waterfront room with an amazing view. The room was lovely. Very clean. The breakfast is very good but was not included in the price of the room. This is the only hotel we stayed in that did not... More

This is what I've come to expect from Marriott properties: Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great service. I had stayed here 12 years ago while on business and remembered how accommodating people were, and it hasn't changed. This stay was just as great -- travel this time was for holiday so a big plus is that it's just a couple... More

I stayed at the Marriott using my Marriott Reward Points. The concierge lounge was very handy -- for breakfast and drinks at other times. We wound up having a light meal and talking with other hotel guests one evening in the lounge. It is a short walk to the Central Station and Tivoli. Our room was quiet and peaceful with... More

We normally don't write bad reviews without contacting the manager first. But after reading all the reviews we simply thought it's no use. Steven the receptionist was friendly but then he talked about a dog I'd bring with me (I asked to have a room where there has not recently been a dog in, as I am allergic to dog's... More
