Great location by the canal, got upgraded to a canal view room, good service at check in, bell hops are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is extremly expensive for what was offered, better off to take a 15 minutes walk into city center for more resonable priced meals. more

Marriott has a good location by a canal, 5-10 mins walk from the train station/Tivoli. The rooms facing the canal have a nice and relaxing view. Rooms are size XL (in European context) and have very good and large beds. The room was with a combined shower/bathtub and the room was equipped adequately in all respects. Lot's of space for... more

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Marriott Copenhagen, and I would never suggest that prices in Copenhagen are “reasonable” – even for those of us who travel in Europe frequently. I wasn’t a huge fan of this Marriott – but then again, that was before I stayed at the Phoenix Hotel in Copenhagen – (read... more

The breakfast was good, the room spacious, even the view was lovely.... but all that you pay for. And more. And that little bit more, we found totally lacking. For example, there is no concierge service, even though this is listed as a service, and there's a desk that says 'concierge'. Unless like the Marriott staff, you think a concierge... more

First visit to Copenhagen and chose the Marriott b/c my friend and I could use points so can't speak to the price. I will echo other reviewers in that Copenhagen is an expensive City - 2 sandwiches (at a cafe) and 2 alcoholic drinks in the Tivoli area - $65. So when given the option to use the Executive Lounge... more

We stayed at the Marriott in the beginning of May 2009 and don't know what we expected, but this hotel definitely doesn't have any personality. The whole hotel seems to be full of offers and price tags as if it wasn't already enough what you paid for the room. There was not even a water bottle for free waiting -... more

Was here for a business conference. Spacious, comfortable rooms and really clean environment. The breakfast was to die for! The staff in reception was not great, a bit of an attitude, but staff in restaurant friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the city. more

Copenhagen is an expensive city but inasmuch as our transatlantic cruise wound up there we decided to stay on an additional two days. We were glad we did because Tivoli Gardens and museums were truly worthwhile. We chose the Marriot because we had heard that alot of the older "charming" hotels could be lacking in various ammenities, had small rooms,... more

Stayed here over the May day bank holiday weekend - very easy and efficient check-in - we'd asked for a river view and were given a great king bed room on the fifth floor - the views are fantastic. Thought the gym was excellent - with a great sauna and steam room - spotlessly clean throughout. Enjoyed strolling up the... more
