On a recent visit to Copenhagen we chose the Imperial. A great choice. Central; reasonable; excellent breakfast; the room was a bit small. Very little storage. Suited perfectly for 3 nights. I wouldn't like to have that room for a week. No noise from outside. If there is - CLOSE THE WINDOW. Staff tend to open the window after daily... More

You won't go wrong with this hotel. It may not be the highlight of your trip, but the rooms are fine and the service is good. The lobby is a bit dark, but that's a minor thing. Breakfast is good and I have heard, from colleagues, great things about the Italian restaurant - though I haven't tried it myself. The... More

The room was so small there was not enough space for me, my partner and my suitcase!... was so so small I had to commit to an "upgrade" of over 100dkk FOR LEG space.... not to mention it was so so dark in the bedroom that even with all lights one felt like night time. Location is great, but for... More

This is a nice hotel, the rooms are a little tired looking and very small if you go for a standard room. The bathroom was very nice but again very small with little room to put anything. Bed was nice and comfy, they changed the sheets once (we stayed for 3 nights) which was fine. The breakfast was nice, they... More

Last stayed here 5 years ago. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. You can get tivoli tickets so you won't have to stand in line. The room is clean and modern. Since it was three of us the roll away bed took up any open space. But we were only there to sleep so it was fine. Close... More

The chief advantage of this hotel is location: a quick walk to the main train station, the metro, and Tivoli Gardens. As for the rooms: mine had badly scuffed walls and furniture, a dirty refrigerator, a toilet seat that was missing a piece, etc. (see photos). Also, there is ongoing construction next door, which meant that my day began with... More

We stayed as part of a group tour - this is a nice business hotel, with a great location. Only 2 blocks from City Hall and Tivoli, and a fairly easy walk to most of the central tourist attractions. the room was smallish - wooden floors - but had no noise from inside hotel (not even other doors closing), but... Overall, a pleasant stay. Room average sized, nice clean bathroom, quiet and comfortable sleep. Breakfast average. Location very handy to Tivoli gardens, and a short walk into the heart of things. Also short walk to train station.

Copenhagen is an expensive city and we were rather late booking our room, so we ended up paying a lot for a room in the Imperial Hotel. For more than 150 euros a night I do expect a very decent hotel though. Walking in to the hotel we were hit by a wall of heat with all the heaters full... More

Next to s-train £30. Taxi from airport you can walk everywhere from here. Hire a bike from the hotel for £7 a half day recommended. Room pokey, hot but window can open fully ( no suicides in Denmark apparently). Bathroom very poor ventilation, wardrobe too small with iron board filling it so no room for clothes. Empty minibar. Ok TV.... More
