Excellent central location, reasonably priced for weekend stay. Bar was ok, but not cheap - more than £5 for a small wine, although I appreciate that Denmark is expensive. I thought the breakfast selection (which was included in my price) was very reasonable.

The location is okay, but it is a little removed from many activities; however, it is a nice city to walk through. I didn't find a huge number of restaurants in the immediate area. It is close to Tivoli. The rooms are average and comfortable enough overall. There was a persistent problem with the AC during my stat, but it... More

Situated about 5 minutes walk from Central Station (from where most travellers will come into Copenhagen), the hotel has a great location. It is also close to the wonderful Tivoli Gardens (where Kubla Khan a stately pleasure dome decreed - ok, not really, but it feels like it!) and the numerous bars and restaurants of the university district. It isn't... More

As part of our Baltic Adventure tour with Great Rail Journeys we stayed at the Imperial Hotel and were very pleased with the proximity to the train station. The rooms are standard fare with all the amenities you would expect in a city hotel. We had dinner on the first night in the hotel restaurant and even though it was... More

For me, the best part of this hotel was its central location in Copenhagen. It was just blocks away from Tivoli Gardens. The second best thing about this hotel was its restaurant. I had one meal there and it was surprisingly good. The waitstaff wasn't extremely friendly, but the food made up for it. My room was a small, but... More

We had a lovely time at Imperial Hotel, Copenhagen. It is in an excellent location so close to the Central Railway Station and Tivoli Gardens. We arrived at the hotel 3 hours before the official checking in times asking if we could store our luggage until check-in. However the efficient and friendly reception staff allowed us to check-in immediately and even... More

Booked a family room for a 3 night short break with the kids, the website said it was a double and 2 x singles which is what we wanted. It turned out that we had a double & a double sofa bed. In fairness, they did put in another single bed but this took up a lot more space. The... More

I visited Imperial after several years now, rooms are totally refurbished, still with touch of design of 60s, hotel is pretty large, but still you don't feel it except for crowded breakfast restaurant. Good place to start a tour of the City.

This place is large. It's well-placed, admittedly, but it's also full of tours and lacks any charm. The breakfast restaurant is totally depressing and makes you want to leave immediately (watch out for the waiters pushing past you to fill the troughs...). Am sure we got what we paid for (it was a BA deal) but it's not a place... More
