Me and my partner really liked this hotel when we stayed here whilst visiting Copenhagen for Tivoli. It was a 10 minute walk from the main train station and the same to Tivoli. I emailed before our arrival to arrange a cake and balloons in the room for my partners birthday. When we arrived, there were loads of balloons around... More

The Imperial was a very comfortable hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant and the breakfast was first class. We were in a superior room, which was spacious and comfortable. All in all an excellent introduction to Copenhagen, where the weather was chilly but dry

I'm a fan of the Scandic brand of hotels, appreciating some of their building idiosyncrasies and insistence on watery toiletries. So, being told that this was now a Scandic hotel and that it had had a great reputation - I was left wondering what to expect. Well apart from a few signs which need to be changed, Scandic have done... More

The hotel is located in central Copenhagen, close to the railway station. Reception staff were efficient and professional. When I come to a new hotel, I always look in the bathroom, because it says so much about the place. This was clean and inviting. Security lock on the door, is a clear advantage to make me as a guests feel... More

This hotel was nice, clean, and very close to the train station. The breakfast buffet was varied and good. However, I would not go there again based soley on their charging practices. I made a reservation and they required a credit card, which is understandable to hold the reservation. Booking.com website stated the location charged surcharge when checking out with... More

The hotel has a perfect location and the staff is very serviceminded. The breakfast buffet was impressive and luxery with free wifi and cable-internet. The tv channels are not impressive but not poor either. We had some anoying neighbours but that is not the hotels fault.

This hotel isn't the best I've ever stayed in, however it is far from the worst, and for two nights on a city break the location is actually pretty much ideal - we didn't resort to public transport ( other than the city bus tour - but that's different ) and were able to reach everything we wanted to in... Clean, fairly central. Not cheap, and charging for paying with a credit card immediately takes a star off in any hotel. Small bar. Even smaller lifts which couldn't be slower if they were operated by hand winch. Rooms ok, but no view (2nd floor) and building work at various hours disturbed sleep. Luckily this was business and I wasn't paying.

The hotel is kept well cleaned. However everything here is simply horrible. The lift - it is ridiculously small that only 2 people with a big luggage bag can fit in. Never mind that it is small, it is crazily slow! From closing of the door to moving up the levels! 3rd floor feels like 30! The rooms - i... More

Stayed here for a night with work. While central, very basic hotel and very expensive for what it was. Lobby OK but lifts tiny and shabby. In other hotels, you will find cleaning staff giving guests priority e.g. in lifts - not in this hotel! Rooms OK - spotless bathroom with toiletries and decent strong hot water. Breakfast basic with... More
