Summary - The Imperial is a typical big city hotel. Luxurious it is not, but is quite acceptable at a reasonable price (for Copenhagen), and a big step up from from the many over-priced, low-quality hotels in the city. Room. The room was quite acceptable - we upgraded for a reasonable charge that was offered at check-in. We were on... More

The position of the hotel is not bad as it is not located far from the very center of the city (but not exactly in the center!). The rooms are not big and also not very modern but if you just to need a sleep next to the center of Copenhagen for a few nights, this place is OK.

Hotel situated in an ok position to railway station but still a way from main area. Inhouse restaurant - L'Apetito very good. Considered the room where breakfast was served was very congested, although there was a reasonable choice of food to select from. Staff were ok but nothing more.

Poor service translated into lack of attention to customers. At first glance, it seemed 2 b a nice hotel to stay but... We do not recomend to my friends. The only good thing about this hotel is close to the Central Station and Tivoli gardens. If you decide to stay there: good luck!

I selected this hotel mainly due to its location and reasonable price. The location is really OK, but the minute I walked in it felt a bit shabby. I booked the superior room it was clean, quiet (double glazing windows), with modern décor and good size. It has a safe, complementary coffee, a flat HD TV, an empty minibar, a... More

Our room was at the very end of a long corridor but quiet and comfortable enough. We checked in at 8 am leaving our bags to go sight seeing. On our return (late afternoon), the older male person requested that we move to their other Hotel a few blocks away as they were now booked out. We explained that we... More

To help those on foot find the hotel from Central Station (because a taxi won't take you this short distance) exit to Vesterbrogade and walk left past the double-deck cycle racks and on your left is the Astoria Hotel. Go over the large pedestrian crossing in front of you and you will be in Vester Farimagsgade. You walk past offices... More

The Imperial is a faded Danish-Modern gem. But it's comfortable enough, and well-located -- a quick walk to Central Station, and across the street from an S-Bahn stop. Room was small (but not tiny) and the bed was comfortable. I had an unpleasant interior-courtyard view; An exterior view would have been nicer. In the same building is a wonderful cinema... More

When arriving we upgraded to a larger room Our room was on top of a picture theatre and the noise level made it impossible to sleep. Avoid room 544. I complained and moved the next day to a quiet room. The room is big and has a fridge with coffee making facilities. The hotel position is close to all major... More

A very nice, comfortable room. Close to Tivoli Gardens and the starting point for the On-Off bus. The Italian restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was more than adequate. The elevators are a bit on the quirky side and very small, making check out time a nightmare! We paid for a balcony room, which came with two full bathrooms- We... More
