I travelled with a friend to Copenhagen and stayed for three nights in this hotel. When we arrived we were met by friendly staff who gave us our keys and were very helpful in answering our questions about the area and which sights too see. Upon booking this hotel, I had asked for a quiet twin room on a high... More

i have been a regular business traveller to copenhagen, and have stopped in the imperial a number of times. This week's trip was however particularly disappointing as the heating failed and as a result was subjected to cold showers. Failures do occur now and again but it would have been nice for the hotel to acknowledge the problem and apologise... More

I stayed for one night as part of a whistle-stop business trip and found it very comfortable for my needs. The room was smallish-ish (double) but modern and clean. The staff in the front desk were friendly and helpful. The bar was fine but I did think the restaurant shut quite early, so I had to head out for food... More

This is a nice hotel to stay in before we started our Baltic cruise. The staff was very friendly and nice and the room was neat and clean. The bed was good to sleep in as well. It was close to shopping and sightseeing. It felt very safe to walk around it both day and nice.

The imperial is located right in the heart of Copenhagen near the hard rock cafe and tivoli and 25 mins walk to the carlsberg brewery. You can walk to all of the main shops in 15 minutes and the parks are even closer. The standard rooms are tiny however and it let's the overall luxury feel of the place down.... More

Located centrally for train station and town centre. Large pleasant hotel with large spaces in foyer area but fairly basic including rooms. Double bed is two single divans pushed together but very soft mattresses. Downstairs bar was usually empty. Staff throughout the hotel were very good and breakfast options were superb. Free Wifi is a plus.

The Imperial is a 5 minute walk from Copenhagen Central station and close to the main shopping and tourist areas of the city. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful. However, my room faced the train station and I could hear every train going past. The bed was also too small and soft for my liking and I would... More

The restaurant shuts early, the beer selection is poor and the bartenders rude. Rooms are basic, a double bed is 2 singles pushed together and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room. Shower facilities are small with no bathtub and the hot water is sporadic. Iron in the room was broken. Tv was not working properly. Breakfast... More

The hotel is perfectly situated close to Tivoli and the centre of Copenhagen. The staff very friendly and from the outside a quite nice hotel. Some rooms (single rooms) are quite small. The rooms are nicely decorated, however the furniture is not quite new anymore. The room I was in had a new carpet (or it seemed new) which was... More

It is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. I could do the check in much earlier, which was nice. Bicycle rental quick but expensive. The location of the hotel is great. I would definately stay in this hotel the next time.
