I also booked this hotel over the Internet through a hotel booking service. I relied largely on the hotel’s website as a guide and was also unpleasantly surprised upon arrival. I can best describe my experience at this hotel as very strange.

As a single female travelling alone I was given a room in a structure at the back of the hotel which was not in the main building. Access to the room (after waiting for 1 hour till the room was ready) was only through going up metal rickety stairs so it was quite a feat to drag up my heavy luggage to get to the room. According to the website the rooms have been renovated however, there was evidence of wear and tear in my room and a strange unsanitary smell that permeated from the bathroom. Needless to say the room looked very different from the pictures on the website.
