We recently stayed at the Anderson Hotel following a cruise. The highlight for us was the helpfulness of the staff - often putting themselves out to help us and offer advice. When we arrived early at 9am, the receptionist personally made us a pot of tea to drink while we waited only half an hour for our room to be... More

We booked & paid for a Superior Double Room & requested a room facing the courtyard upon booking the hotel (the only rooms that face the courtyard). The hotel stated in it’s description of a superior double room that “it is larger & includes a sitting area, queen sized bed, telephone” etc. When we arrived at the man at the... More

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the train station and walking distance to all of central Copenhagen. Highly recommend renting bikes from the hotel for a fun and speedy way to explore the city like a local. Although the rooms were a bit small, it had everything you needed and beds were comfortable.... More

Location is great, only five minutes from the train station.(which was great as we took the train from the airport to the city centre). Rooms are quite small as is the bathroom but were quite adequate for our needs. They were very clean. Plenty of wardrobe space for two. We were at the back overlooking the courtyard so noise wasn't... More

The location of the hotel was ideal for us in view of its close proximity to the station and other key attractions. As other reviewers have mentioned it is on the edge of a rather interesting area which did make me feel a little uncomfortable walking through on an evening. This would not however put me off staying here again... More

The hotel is on a great location. Very near to the central station and if you are comming from the airport this is ideal. On the second hand it is on a great location to visit the city atractions. The suraonding is a mix of different emotion. On one hand this is a red light distict but also full of... More

On arrival from the train station (walking distance), we noticed the sign on the building actually says "Anderson Hotel". Might the word "Boutique' have been added to encourage more booking? So, it begs the question, "What makes a hotel "Boutique"?" Is it some wild furniture? Or a bold painted wall? Well, the Anderson does have those things. But what would... More

Thank you for an interesting review. A Boutique hotel is a small individually owned hotel, with focus on personal service and nice design. It is a niche hotel that differs from chain hotels which are run on standards and no individuality. Andersen Boutique Hotel is named after my Grandmother (I am third hotel generation) and truly believe in true hospitality.... More

The Good Clean tidy hotel, really friendly and helpful staff and a nice breakfast. If your happy to walk or hire a bike you can get to Tivoli gardens really quickly and easily, the old town and castle are within walking distance but it is a bit of a walk so be prepared to take a bit of time and... The hotel is in a seedy area of town but it is clean and safe during the day. Like others have noted recently the street noise is terrible all night long. We were on the 4th floor (out of 5) but the chatter from females on the street was so loud that it kept us up all night long (at... More

Thank you for a valuable review. We apologize for your disappointment in our hotel. And we are sorry you experienced a lot of noise from the street. It sounds like you stayed with us on 16.June - and I agree it was an extremely noisy night. It was Distortion Vesterbro - a huge Street Music Festival with a lot of... More
