On our visit under difficult circumstances due to the volcano in Iceland, the whole staff couldn't be more helpful and did their very best for us at all times day or night. First Class! Well done to all. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at the Mayfair a number of times. It is truly fabulous. My only recommendation is that they drop the paper cups for complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge .. its the only un-elegant feature of the entire hotel. I will always stay there. I recommend it. On this visit I arrived from a late night flight... More

We felt we chose really well staying here. From the moment we entered to the second we left the staff were simply top class. We booked a twin bed room through Alpharooms, It was for me and my rather tall mid -twenties son. However, when we got to our room we found it was a double. The hotel said they... More

I am currently staying at this hotel and it is not the first time I am here. Initially I used Trip Advisor when searching for hotels in CHP, found this hotel, and have not been disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, clean, newly renovated and very stylish, friendly staff, great food - all organic and healthy. It is a 3 minute... More

After several stays at The Mayfair Hotel I must now find time to write a review of them. I spend almost 100 nights in hotels a year and I must say that they seem to keep surprising me - and I feel so at home with both rooms and especially the staff. They always have a smile on their faces... More

I booked this hotel for a business trip after reading the reviews here on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. One of my colleagues said he'd stayed in a number of hotels in this area, but the Mayfair was by far the best. The only downsize was the size of the single rooms - very, very small. Ensuite, which was fine,... More

We stayed here for a week and felt that it was great value for money. When we had the chance, we came back to the hotel for the complimentary afternoon tea and cake or the evening tapas buffet. Really delicious Danish tapas. The rooms were pretty and mine was quite spacious although other colleagues had smaller rooms. There is a... More

Pros: Conveniently located, breakfast, evening tea and light dinner buffet included, helpful staff. Cons: Paper-thin walls, no safety box in room. We stayed at this hotel for one night recently. We chose it for its location near the central train station, the price and the fact that breakfast, evening tea and a light dinner buffet was included. All in all... More

This hotel is very good value in what can be an expensive city - it has a modern comfortable design feel. My room was quite small in square metres - but delightful (see photos). I am using the free wifi to post this review. Clean, bright, cheerful are words I would use. The street is fine (with other smaller hotels)... More

I'm always a bit dubious about hotels near the train station, but the Mayfair is a lovely hotel, with all the amenities you want, in a great location and with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The lobby is very inviting, with several large comfy chairs to sit and read or have a cup of tea in the evening surrounded by... More
