Before you stay here, think to yourself, "Who am I as a traveller?". If you want 5 star, air conditioning and american style amenities, stay somewhere else. If you want a charming hotel, Excellent service, Amazing location, Free wifi, Clean SMALL rooms ( I mean why would you stay in your room when you have COPENHAGEN to explore) then HOTEL... More

We arrived at 11.30am with a 3.00pm check-in, they checked us in, with a free upgrade, we didn't even ask! No problems. The receptionist was a biker herself, and was delighted to talk about things bike. The hotel was cheery, clean, central with a smashing breakfast. All-in-all a good all-rounder.

This hotel has a great location, otherwise I would give it 1 star. Ave never seen such small rooms in my life. When you open the door, you can't open it properly, cose there is already a bed ;) and that's the end o the room. Basin int he bathroom is inside the shower cabin. Exactly!!!!!!! Horrible. It's not uncomfortable,... More

Only minutes away from the main station. Friendly staff, very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was very good with a large selection. We had a problem with our reservation and that was sorted out by reception staff quickly. I would recommend Hotel Opera!

This hotel is fantastically located in the city of Copenhagen, close to the metro, shopping area and canals. The interior is a little dark and traditional in decor and furnishings but this is in keeping with the age of the building. It's a little 'tired' in places. The staff are great and are helpful and knowledeable. I had a single... More

When checking into the Hotel Opera, you are told your room is one the 5th floor, pick up your bags and walk out of the door and find another hotel. The reason is the lift (elevator) only goes to the 4th floor. So if you have any more luggage than a backpack, you will carrying your bags up the stairs... More

Lovey, small, quiet hotel within only 5 mins walk from the bustling old port with its bars and restaurants. In the opposite direction, the shops and old town is only about 15 mins walk. The room could be described as gloomy, by some, or atmospheric and romantic by others! It was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was copious... More

Hotel Opera is perfectly located for a bridge between arriving at the airport and leaving on a cruise. The easiest, least expensive, and most timely way to arrive is to take the metro. Usually I am very leery about running around town with luggage in tow and taking public transportation after a LONG flight. However, everyone recommended taking the metro,... More

Pre cruise layover in Copenhagen. The Hotel Opera worked out very well for us. Hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Conveniently and centrally located near Metro. Staff was helpful. We can definitely recommend.
