I stayed at The Phoenix two nights with my friend. The room was small but also cheaper than elsewhere we looked. The hotel is centrally located, with very friendly staff and good breakfast. The decor is "royal" so don't expect to find a modern gym etc. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in central Copenhagen and still... More

We stayed at Phoenix Copenhagen night before our cruise to the Baltic sea. Since the location is excellent we could enjoy walking to interest tourist places and to the new port where the restaurants and coffee shops exist. The hotel is clean and rooms are sized ok.

I don't understand the bad rating of Phoenix Copenhagen on some websites. This hotel is 10 minutes by foot from metro station Kongens Nytorv (direct line to airport), 5 minutes by foot to famous Nyhavn and Amalienborg (Queen's Palace). There is a bus stop (line 26, stop at the railway Central Station) in front of the side entrance. Definitely, my... More

No issues with this hotel - lovely exterior, clean room with personality. The front desk were helpful. The best bit about the hotel is the location - we walked everywhere - the little mermaid, the main shopping strip, botanical gardens and Tivoli. The metro is 5minutes from the hotel so very easy to hop on to the metro from the... More

The location is excellent. We walked from the station to the hotel - very convenient. Arrived before noon and they made sure they cleaned the room to give us the room as early as possible. Good size room for Europe but worth upgrading to superior with breakfast, which would be expensive if paid for separately.

Last weekend I stayed at this hotel with my husband and our kids. We had booked two rooms with a door between them, so the children could sleep in one room and we in the other. We thought this would make our stay extra nice and luxurious...! After check-in we found that the door between the rooms was locked! We... More

We checked in here after a whirlwind European trip and the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating to our needs. The front desk staff really made the difference with this hotel experience. Pros: location. We could walk to everything we needed. Suggest taking the metro to the hotel from the airport instead of bus, cab, or train. The... More

This hotel is very conveniently located just outside the city centre. The hotel is old, well maintained and is full of character. Visible in the bathroom (marmer) and in the decoration in the room and in the lobby. I had a single room, with a single bed and that room was tiny. This was okay for one night, but for... More

From the outside the hotel looks fantastic but from the inside it is a whole other story. We paid for a superior double room but the receptionist told us that they are out of those and gave us an executive double room which was supposed to be better looking. The main problem of the room was that it was unbelievably... More

We walked all over Copenhagen from this very central location, including the Nyhavn canal area, the pedestrian shopping zone, the little mermaid statue, several key museums, and Tivoli gardens. The hotel has a lovely, well maintained lobby, a very attentive staff, and free wi-fi. This was important as we had to sit and wait for more than an hour until... More
