Hotel well located in Bredgade street... a bit old style and in need of some renovation and new layout. Huge reception area but no life... Space in rooms very limited. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Prior to cruising on the Baltic Sea our group of 8 stayed at the Phoenix Hotel in Copenhagen. When making the reservation there were some difficulties with how we were charged, but thru diligence and the concern of Julie Heinen of the Phoenix, everything was settled satisfactorily. The convenience of being close enough to walk to many of the sights... More

The rooms are very small, but hotel located right in the heart of the city, very close to many attractions. Clean and friendly staffs, and priced slightly on the high side. Overall a good hotel to stay, especially if you are in Copenhagen for vacation.

Nice hotel. Good distance from the centrum. Breakfast was good and room was Nice. Service could have better. We had booking for two persons but there was towels only for one person. Even calling the room service twice, we didn't get more towels. Also asked for iron twice, but never got that either

We got to Copenhagen late in the afternoon after a long drive in the rain from Dusseldorf, Germany. We parked by the front door and the bellhop took our baggage up to the nice room and then he parked our car in a garage across the street. The hotel is only a few blocks from all of the restaurants along... More

Strange feeling every time you try to book some "boutique" hotels... Expensive (170 DKK) breakfast with limited choices, smelly corridors, small rooms, sort of golden furniture... Coffee on the go and water for runners but only on the weekdays :-) People, some guests like to run on the weekend as well!!! Good thing - central location in a good neighborhood.... More

Dear traveller, Thank you for taking the time to express your views regarding your recent stay with us last month. It’s correct that we are none of the hotel preferred. Our historic building dated many hundred years back and is held in a Louis VII style to rremain faithful to the past. We are sorry to hear this is not... More

We have stayed in Copenhagen several times and booked the Phoenix as part of a convention package. It is in a really good location for pretty much everything. A short walk to the subway. Near plenty of restaurants and shopping. Not far from the harbor. The hotel is well managed, clean and bright. The breakfast was excellent and fresh. The... More

I stayed for three nights in August. The front of the hotel is very impressive with an efficient reception. Later they were very helpful booking taxis for me and helping me find places to walk to. The single rooms are as small as other reviewers have commented but I found it comfortable. The electric pugs are somewhat inaccessible and are... More

I spent 1 night here on a business trip. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Service on reception is good and the staff are very friendly. Free wi-fi worked well. I asked for and obtained a quiet room overlooking the internal court. The room was very small (standard single) and the air conditioning system was leaking water, waking me... More

We stayed at the Phoenix for two nights pre-cruise in reference to the hotels offered by our cruise company. Having been to Copenhagen before and been placed some way from the Centre we wanted something near Nyhaven and the better end of Stroget, and the Phoenix was ideally placed. We upgraded to a Executive room for little extra cost, and... More
