Great location, by Nyhaven, but small rooms in a building that needs a serious makeover. There are signs of wear and tear from the moment you walk though the front door (what is a yellow plastic duck doing on the fountain?), all the way to your room; the bathrooms especially need some TLC. The breakfast area was not what you... More

A beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. Walking distance most sites, shopping and the harbor resturants. A cozy bar and a good breakfast made for a perfect stay. The staff were very helpful and all spike perfect English which was great for me as I speak no Danish.

On the positive sides for this hotel it is clear and very central. The down sides are the rooms are very small and the whole hotel is in need of refurbishment. The restaurant has a very limited menu and the quality of the food can only be described as average. In my opinion there is far better 4 star hotels... More

Quite a good hotel with a nice lobby, a bit old but it's part of the charm. Rooms were quite small, but for me what you expect from a hotel is: good sleep (excellent beds in this case), not noisey (church is near but you cant do much about this...otherwise it wasnt noisey), good service (everything I asked for was... We stayed for one night in Copenhagen and chose this hotel by nice pictures. The lobby is luxurious indeed but the rooms are tired-looking with a strange damp smell. Our bed had separate mattraces and blankets - something you wouldn't expect from a romantic package. Room was cold and there was constant squeaking noise. Breakfast is good - a lot... More

Rooms are nice and some rooms also have a great view. Even though the street is really busy you cannot hear it in the rooms. The location is within walking range of several sightseeing musts like Nyhavn, Kastellet, and the little mermaid. Would recommend this

I stayed there after suggestions that it was a landmark hotel in the centre of Copenhagen. The location was ok, but the rooms and the general condition of the hotel not good. The room was dirty. My sheets had hai on the bed and when i uncovered the sheets there was a broken hangtag from clothes. I was so, exhausted,... More

A quality hotel that is now rather faded around the edges. The rooms could do with some tlc - the trouser press in my room was coming off the wall and did not work, and the TV could not be tuned in. Reasonable value for money.

Second time staying at this hotel. It has a great location for me when coming for business (very close to the local office of my company) otherwise it's still good with 5 min walk to Kongens Nytorg, great staff that always are helpful and smiling. The rooms are a bit olds, but nice. Got an upgrade this time even without... More
