I stayed here for 5 nights in an executive room in mid-July. The staff here are very friendly and always ready to help. A big added bonus was that breakfast was provided so that my family and I didn't have to worry about finding a supermarket. (There was a large selection from danishes to sausages) The location of the hotel... More

The Phoenix is an old world hotel conveniently located in Copenhagen with professional staff. If you can reserve an Executive Room at a reasonable price, it is quite nice. To avoid the smallest rooms, avoid any room with a single bed. Sometimes you have the option of upgrading on arrival for around 400 DKK which is probably worth it.

Ideal location for city trip. Moderate pricing. Most rooms rather small, but clean and tidy. Good breakfast buffet apart from powder scrambled eggs. Staff was very helpful securing our bikes in a safe location.

The hotel Phoenix is actually not a bad hotel at all. A friend and I had a superior single room each for 5 nights whilst in Copenhagen. The hotel looks tired and the bathrooms need updating BUT the beds and pillows are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the staff are charming and do their absolute best to make your stay... More

We just stayed at Hotel Phoenix for two nights with our two year old. We had to travel last minute, so we needed to book the hotel the day before we needed to arrive. We emailed several places on our, "hopeful," list and Phoenix was the only one able to fit us in. I said in my email that we... More

A charming old world feel and utterly charming staff. Sadly let down badly by the rooms. The bed was tiny and the mattress felt tired. Air conditioning is a must have these days in a four star hotel room, this was absent here. On a warm night in a large city, leaving the window open is not an option, not... More

Nice hotel but the rooms could do with being refurbished and the single rooms are very claustrophobic. Good breakfast selection and nice views from the top as well as hidden terrace. The bar downstairs is a little gem.

Stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was good, and location was good to walk and enjoy major downtown sights including excellent restuarants. It's walkable from the train station with luggage if you have the time. Room was so tiny it could barely fit our luggage. Wireless internet access was terrible. At check in there wasn't even a map of the city... More

Good Hotel, even wheter it seems to be an old fashioned building with furniture from the '80s. I had some problems with my hair dryer and they've tryed to fix them in a reasonable time. The breakfast table was well equipped and we have enjoyed it. Bear also in mind that the position of the Hotel is very central and... More

The location is perfect, just around the corner from the Amalienborg Palace in the heart of Copenhagen. The room was quite small, though clean and functional. It lacked proper climate control, only a modest problem in the climate, and required inserting the key in the wall to turn the power on.
