Copenhagen is not known for its hotels. This hotel is a good average hotel (great for Copenhagen) with breakfast, room service and 24 hour reception. The cleaning is good and the service polite. Location is amazing in the middle of Copenhagen. Only two things that were a bit off is the bed which was a bit used and therefore very... More

A friend and I stayed for one night, march 15th. We were greeted by a group of drunken guests. No big deal, even though we were surprised that they were allowed to harrass arriving guests. The problem arrived later when drunken guests (the same?) tried to get in to our room at 3 am, sceaming and yelling. Even though the... More

This hotel is ideally situated for a weekend break in Copenhagen. The price is very fair for the area and although the hotel is starting to become slightly dated it still holds its charm. The rooms are of a good size with all the standard facilities such as TV, robes, minibar etc. The beds are extremely comfortable and you also... More

Stayed at the Phoenix hotel on a city break holiday in early April. We had an executive room which was very comfortable with plenty of room to move about. The furnishings were of a high standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were two English speaking news stations on the TV. The breakfast room is in a semi basement... More

I booked the hotel at random, most of all looking for a place to stay close to everything in intercity Copenhagen. Ended up staying at this posh 4- star hotel with what great staff. A lot of value for my money and a perfect stay for our week end. Nyhavn is right around the corner and so is Ströget with... More

I have just spent a couple of nights at the Phoenix, traveling alone I had booked a single room, after seeing the reviews I was expecting little more than a cupboard but what I got was adequate. The room was about half of the size of a UK Travelodge, for three times the price, but the this is after all... More

I was here for 3 nights in March 2014. The rooms are roomy, quaint and lovely and offer good value for money. Plus a good sized bathroom. The location is central and very close to the Nyhavn and the main shopping strip and many good restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very good and with a wide choice. Wifi was good... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for two nights from the 15-17 March. Having never been to Copenhagen before, we picked a hotel that appeared to be in a good location with easy access to the city centre and Metro. The metro from the airport takes 10-15 minutes and stops at Kongens Nytorv. From there the hotel is... More

This hotel is in a great central location. The hotel is quite charming and the main downer was that the room smelt of cigarettes even thou hits a non smoking room. Overall it was a pleasant stay and if you are looking for somewhere in Copenhagen that is not exorbitant and us still nice, this may be the place.
