We stayed one night at the Phoenix. Great location but very tired interior and staff. The room was small (superior double at $300/night) located on the noisy Bredgade. Sleepless night due to traffic and sirens. Generally speaking a very, very tired hotel - needs serious updating in order to bring on par with other hotels in its class. Staff were... More

I needed a place just for breakfast. I called the evening before to ask if this was possible not being a hotel guest. Not a problem and when I arrived the next morning they had a quiet table reserved for me. They knew I was coming. The place was busy but the waiters took time to attend to me and... More

We only stopped the one night on route to Malmo for a Baltic Cruise, The hotel was in a perfect position for all the sights, Nyhaven etc. it was rather a grand hotel but a little dated, comfy beds, helpfull staff,we didnt have breakfast due to lack of time. my only gripe was the hotel ordered our taxi to take... The Phoenix is a great place and staff are certainly very friendly. The rooms and the hotel in general are clean, the conference facilities decent and breakfast was plentiful. The rooms are small but sufficient for a few days. The bathroom was a little odd as the drainage was under the sink so the water from the shower spread across... More

The Phoenix is located not far from the famous Nyhavn canal area where the many restaurants and retailers are. The metro is close by to catch if you want to travel to Carlsberg Brewery or other areas away from downtown Copenhagen. The rooms are nicely appointed, but small. Be sure to ask for a room not facing the delivery courtyard.... More

The entrance has an impressive chandelier and the lobby is very spacious, though it's not a very large hotel. It's furnished adequately, but the cushions in some of the armchairs need to be repadded. The reception staff was most helpful. The rooms were nicely furnished;and the bathrooms were on the smaller side. You can't beat the location as you can... More

Hotel well located in Bredgade street... a bit old style and in need of some renovation and new layout. Huge reception area but no life... Space in rooms very limited. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Prior to cruising on the Baltic Sea our group of 8 stayed at the Phoenix Hotel in Copenhagen. When making the reservation there were some difficulties with how we were charged, but thru diligence and the concern of Julie Heinen of the Phoenix, everything was settled satisfactorily. The convenience of being close enough to walk to many of the sights... More

The rooms are very small, but hotel located right in the heart of the city, very close to many attractions. Clean and friendly staffs, and priced slightly on the high side. Overall a good hotel to stay, especially if you are in Copenhagen for vacation.

Nice hotel. Good distance from the centrum. Breakfast was good and room was Nice. Service could have better. We had booking for two persons but there was towels only for one person. Even calling the room service twice, we didn't get more towels. Also asked for iron twice, but never got that either
