This hotel, across the street from Tivoli and an easy walk to Storget and most other attractions in central Copenhagen, was designed (down to the door handles) by Arne Jacobsen, the prototypical designer of what is now called "Mid-Century Scandinavian." The hotel has preserved much of his design (even maintains room 606 as it was originally equipped and furnished) and... more

We stayed at the Radisson Royal over a weekend in early October. Although we had booked online, we had a corner room on the 8th floor, which offered expansive views of the city. The hotel is situated very centrally, just next to the train/metro station, across the street from Tivoli, and a few blocks from the busier end of Stroget,... more

The service was great from check-in to check out. The staff couldn't do enough to help. We went for the Royal Club Room and the view was excellent, looking over Tivoli Gardens. The bathroom was large and everything was kept clean. The hotel is close to the centre with a lot of places to eat close by. I would book... more

Travelling round Scandinavia I find it increasingly difficult to find a hotel which meets the mark, especially smaller hotels. The Radisson formular has got it right for me. High speed internet (although not wireless) business class room had it all. Stylish yet contemporary, comfortable and spacious. The service is of a high standard and the breakfast was just great...not sure... more

The hotel was very comfortable, very convenient to major sights in Copenhagen. Bathrooms were outstanding, everything very clean. We were given a room on the 9th floor with a wonderful view of the city even though we had booked with an online agency. The staff were very helpful. But beware of other charges, if you need to use the telephone... more

I stayed here for a few nights over a couple of weeks in the summer on business. Given that everything in Denmark seems expensive at the moment to a Brit, this hotel is still expensive. It's located opposite Tivoli (sounds more romantic than it is) next to the train station and right in the heart of the tourist part of... more

I loved this hotel. We stayed in a Royal Club room on the 14th floor giving us great views of the city and across the water to Sweden. The room had airconditioning which was a nice change from other hotels in Copenhagen. The best part was the breakfast buffet at the Alberto K restaurant on the 20th floor. The food... more

This hotel is in a great location. It is right across the street from Tivloi Gardens, great restaurnats, and within walking distance of the old town, and the historic districts. The room we had was large, the bathroom had good shower pressure, the bed was well made, and the room was cleaned well. They have a breakfast buffet in the... more
