Check in was extremely chaotic and involved us having to change rooms FIVE times before our heads hit the pillow on the first night: We had booked a standard double, and, aware of the ongoing building work from Trip Advisor, I had requested a room at the back of the hotel. After trekking along the rabbit warren of narrow corridors,... More

Hotel Neptun is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Positives: Helpful staff Clean! Fantastic location - 1 min from Nyhaven (colourful houses by harbour), about 5 mins if that from Kongens Nytorv Metro (direct link to airport) Loads to do in vicinity as popular with tourists and locals Things I'd change: Double bed was 2 singles pushed together The... Stayed one night prior to a cruise. Very good location within walking distance to Nyhaven area. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. Our room looked into a courtyard which was fine for our night stay but would ask for a different view if it was longer. Tip: Ensure you know the name of... More

We should have known what we were in for when the taxi driver dropped us off down the road so he did not have to bare the brunt of our disappointment and drive us elsewhere. As we side stepped through the cat flap-esque door we were greeted by a blonde lady sat alone at the pop up style podium desk... More

Husband and I stayed for 3 nights in June in a superior double room. We had booked online through Hotels.com. Booking was smooth and we received excellent communication from hotels.com to prepare us for our stay. As for the hotel: We were aware there was construction around the hotel from other TA reviews, but I requested in advance a street-side... More

This hotel is the worst experience I have EVER experienced. BEWARE**** There was no disclosure about the renovations occurring in this building on booking, or check in. At 6am, experience constant LOUD banging and people outside your window, yelling, jumping up and down on the floor above you. This is the constant noise of these renovations. The hotel staff seem... This has been the most disappointing hotel during our 4 week holiday. Our room looked onto an internal courtyard where breakfast was served - so if you slept with the window open noise would wake you early. The windows onto the courtyard make the rooms feel claustrophobic - not helped by the fact our room was really hot and the... More

Worst hotel experience in years. 07.00 started work with workers half a meter outside our window. We spend aroun 50 nights per year on hotels and this was a ruined vacation more than anything else. Don't go here before the renovation is done and with a management that rent out rooms like ours not after either.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, a lovely breakfast area with a nice variety of breakfast foods and in a great location close to restaurants and shops. The front desk staff were very helpful in directing us to various areas of the city and calling for taxi service. All in all, a good experience.

If you have mobility issues don’t book with them. When I made the reservations in March, for 2 Suite Doubles, under comments I wrote “Can one room be handicap accessible, mom uses a walker, and lifting leg in to a bathtub/shower would be difficult for her, walk-in shower preferable” So can you guess what kind of room we were given?...
