The location of the hotel is great for the train station, just a 15 min train ride from the airport. The city shops are only a short walk away, so good for a first visit to Copenhagen. If you like small bedrooms this is for you, but for an couple of nights what do you need. I will certainly be... more

We recently got back from staying at this hotel for two nights. It was very convenient, clean and had a great free cappuccino maker! The hotel was walkable from the main train station. We took the train from the airport with no problems. The rooms at the front of the hotel are a little noisier than the back. The staff... more

I can imagine this is the sort of hotel that Chad from California would have a problem with. The rooms are pretty compact, if I had a cat I'd struggled to get half a swing - but, the room is clean, functional and the bathroom is a decent size with power shower. The location is brilliant (behind the main train... more

Well situated for city attractions, but that's about all it's got going for it. The rooms are small & shabby. There's no air conditioning, so you need to leave the windows open 24/7 which means the noise (& there's a lot of it!) stops you from sleeping. Directly opposite (& some rooms are above) strip clubs - so not recommended... more

I think you can get better value for your money. Very worn down hotel, small rooms, walls like made of paper, not that clean either. Personal is not very helpful or flexible... The bath is in pretty bad shape - you fell a bit riped off... more

Hotel is in a good position, only 10 minutes walk from station, in fact it was only 30 minutes from getting off the plane. The street has a couple of lap dancing (brothels) on it, but there is no need for worry. There is a great spa about 10 minutes away (a bit pricey but well worth it for the... more

Had a good 2 night stay recently. You get what you pay for I believe....we paid £56 per night twin room only and this I think was good value for money. It's basic accomodation and in need of refurbishment as it's clearly fraying at the edges when you look at the decor closely. Yes, it is in Red Light District... more

We stayed at the Comfort Excelsior during the hottest days of the whole year, and that brought some problems. There was no AC in the whole hotel, and the room was on the side of the evening sun, so it was an inferno by the time I went to sleep. During the second day it was better since I had... more

I stayed at this place in July 2008 for 3 nights with a group of guys from England on a stag do (i know, pretty dumb coming to Copenhagen if your drinking copious amounts of beer at £5 a pint!!). Anyway, to keep it simple heres a list of good, ok & bad points concerning this ordinary establishment: Good: Location... more
