The rooms are really weird and we were surprised to see that they are shaped like a ships cabin (duh.. CABINN metro).. we had bunkbeds. (we travelled with our teenage daughter) My husband and I had just come off a mini cruise the week before and just burst out laughing (my husband had chosen this hotel) The receptionist was lovely... The hotel is so close to the airport that it is very convenient to leave luggage and take the train to the center. The rooms, are a bit narrow but you can expect that when you book a hotel of that budget price in a top expensive city ( if you can tell budget price 85 Euros per night and booked... Stayed here for three nights with my husband for a long weekend break in Copenhagen. Check in was straightforward and quick, staff were very pleasant and efficient. A bit surprised how small the room was but it was manageable. I suppose that was the trade off for booking a room in a hotel on the cheaper end of the scale.... More

The hotel is very nice inside and outside. 4 of us stayed in one room. The room is cozy, but more than enough. The staffs been very kind. Specially the night receptionist. They were very friendly. My only problem the weather, which is soo windy in December, but that's not the hotel's fault...:)

Lacks on cleanliness (Stained carpet, toilet and desk marked with shape of used cups). Very small bathroom with the toilet partially under sink and shower with just a curtain and no tray so floor of shower is same as toilet. Ample towels and just 1 soap/shampoo sachets for toiletries. Breakfast is good and WIFI connection is good as well. Reception... More

Hotels in Copenhagen is some expensive, so this a very good choice combining a good service in a low price. So, very good value for money. The breakfast has the basics but is ok, the rooms are quite clean and modern but small as ship cabins and the personel is friendly. I strongly recomended for 1 person business trip.

For budget travel and no expectations the hotel is clean, cheap and convenient for hopping the metro to the city or the train to Copenhagen airport. The rooms are small and the bathroom smaller and no view to speak of. Breakfast is an optional extra, but did not try it. As I was travelling on my own had booked a... More

Its so big and the rooms are so small. It does'nt seem to matter if you are there or not. No view from the room. No receipt when you check out even though the person checking us in said so. Paied for parking, but did´nt seem to be checked if we paid or not. You know what you get in... More

Staying in Amager

Neighborhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
