This spartan boutique hotel built upon barge provides excellent views of Copenhagen skyline and the water front. The room we stayed (3 nights) in was clean with floor to ceiling picture windows running across the length of the room. The bathroom was large and modern. Hotel CPH Living uses geothermal heating and is striving to be greener by the year.... More

Had a great weekend staying at CPH Living. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Very relaxing to lie in bed and watch the boats on the river sail past. The bread rolls at breakfast come from a local artisan bakery and are unbelievably nice! My only suggestion for improvement is to replace the coffee dispenser with a decent coffee... More

I guess all the spiders are gone because we had no problem with windows open. We had Room 12 at the end of the top deck so it was a bit more private than other rooms althought that didn't seem to be an issue for others. The rooms/bed were very comfortable...wifi was good...nice shower and bathroom. Watching the canal traffic... More

Spent 2 nights here on arriving in Copenhagen for the first time. We knew there would be no receptionist on duty but it was only a quick phonecall to get the code for the wallsafe where our keycards were. (you need to take a mobile phone with you) Our room was on the upper level. No spiders! lovely views, a... More

So... hotels in Copenhagen are expensive. We figured, therefore, why not pay a bit of a premium, and stay somewhere different, rather that a costly box room with a small window in a concrete block. This place is not cheap. But, my word, is it beautiful. We had a cabin on the lower deck, which we would recommend as you... More

This hotel is super fun but have to agree with previous posters - too expensive for the excessive spiders and swarms of wasps, people in boats pulling up and peering in to your room, tuba concerts and music floating by at 3am. Need air conditioning and/or screens on windows to keep spiders out - I dreamt of spiders the whole... More

This summer in Denmark has been nice and warm. The winter was mild and the spring warm too. The last month (July) we had an unusual number of Spiders, bees and other insects in the city area because of the unusual warm weather, and in our location on the water we had even more than other parts in this area.... This was the WORST hotel we stayed in Scandinavia! When we arrived late there was NO one at the reception and the entrance was locked with only instruction to call a local number! With the help of a nice person walking by we were finally able to contact the hotel. The lack of service continued throughout our stay. The view... More

When we arrived, there was no one at reception, and we had to wait half an hour for someone to show up. When we saw our room, we were pleased with the lovely design, and it was fun to open the windows and see kayakers and motor boat riders pass by. The breeze off the water was great, and we... More

I stayed here for one night in July. The location is great, the view is wonderful. Unfortunately a few factors meant that I would not recommend this hotel to others. My room was a little dusty and had a few cobwebs - not a good impression. During the afternoon and well into the evening it was so hot in the... More

Stayed there for 2 nights in June. I agree with most of comments: great location, nice experience etc . One drawback is no blackout curtains , so bring your eye mask if you want to sleep past 6 am in summer. One of the staff when we arrived on a Sunday late afternoon was very friendly. He showed us the... More
