The floating waterside location is awesome... and no one told me there was an upstairs breakfast room with epic views too. Amazing! I travel a lot to CPH for business and will definitely go here instead of a big soulless place in future :-) On the flip side, breakfast was pretty basic, and the coffee was horrible - I couldn't... We enjoyed our stay although not the most comfortable room we've stayed in. My wife found the bed to be uncomfortable and the room was very warm. We ended up opening a window for part of the night to try to cool down. The room itself was compact but not cramped, and the breakfast was nice. The view is great... More

Stayed here for a weekend. We were in one of the rooms on the top floor. The views were amazing, and the hotel is very close to many attractions, only ~15 minutes walk to tivoli/main train station. There is a see-through window into the bedroom from the shower and the door to the bathroom is also see-through which was a... More

The hotel is located in a great area, about 15 mins walk from the central train station and very close to the town (we didn't use public transport for our whole trip in Copenhagen). The room was basic but fine for us, and it initially appeared clean and tidy. The window from the bathroom into the bedroom is a bit... More

We do like boats, its true, but who could fail to love this place? The only drawback is that its not a large hotel, so book early. Rooms are either right on the water level, or a floor above. We came eye to eye with a cormorant one morning. You are located a few blocks from the main train station... More

It 'was a very pleasant stay at the hotel CPH LIVING. The room is modern, clean and comfortable, the view that you can admire from the room is very impressive. Also good breakfast, you can do in the roof of the boat. I recommend it.

This hotel is basic but it was also kind of a cool concept. Plus side: - The breakfast is very much continental, but it is included. - There is wifi. - The bed was actually VERY comfortable. - The rooms were modest but had everything you needed. - The roof deck is beautiful and, had the weather been better during... My wife and I really enjoyed staying at CPH Living. Locals here are obsessed with the water so what could be more appropriate than sleeping in a floating hotel on the river. Location of this hotel is great. Just outside the main hustle bustle of Copenhagen proper yet only a 15min walk to attractions such as Tivoli. Staff here were... More

It was such a treat to stay on the waterfront. The clever design of the furniture gave us more space for storage than most hotel rooms. The deck offers a spectacular view of the harbor. Most of us brought our breakfast up there and watched the city awaken. While we were enjoying wine in the evening, the royals were also... More

Stayed for four nights in August with my daughter for a 21st birthday treat and loved everything about this boat. It definitely brought out the sense of adventure in us with spiral stair cases to get between decks, the hammock on the sundeck and the slight movement from the waves on the river. The inside of the boat is bright,... More

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighborhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
