This hotel is super fun but have to agree with previous posters - too expensive for the excessive spiders and swarms of wasps, people in boats pulling up and peering in to your room, tuba concerts and music floating by at 3am. Need air conditioning and/or screens on windows to keep spiders out - I dreamt of spiders the whole... More

This summer in Denmark has been nice and warm. The winter was mild and the spring warm too. The last month (July) we had an unusual number of Spiders, bees and other insects in the city area because of the unusual warm weather, and in our location on the water we had even more than other parts in this area.... This was the WORST hotel we stayed in Scandinavia! When we arrived late there was NO one at the reception and the entrance was locked with only instruction to call a local number! With the help of a nice person walking by we were finally able to contact the hotel. The lack of service continued throughout our stay. The view... More

When we arrived, there was no one at reception, and we had to wait half an hour for someone to show up. When we saw our room, we were pleased with the lovely design, and it was fun to open the windows and see kayakers and motor boat riders pass by. The breeze off the water was great, and we... More

I stayed here for one night in July. The location is great, the view is wonderful. Unfortunately a few factors meant that I would not recommend this hotel to others. My room was a little dusty and had a few cobwebs - not a good impression. During the afternoon and well into the evening it was so hot in the... More

Stayed there for 2 nights in June. I agree with most of comments: great location, nice experience etc . One drawback is no blackout curtains , so bring your eye mask if you want to sleep past 6 am in summer. One of the staff when we arrived on a Sunday late afternoon was very friendly. He showed us the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely time, rocked gently by the harbour ripples. The room is chic and well maintained. The roof terrace is heaven! The breakfast is fresh and top quality. Free tea and coffee all day in the downstairs breakfast room. Helpful owner who runs the place of just 12 rooms, giving this a... More

perfect location as you are about a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The staff are on location 24hrs .you are 5 minutes from the bus boat which will take you straight to the mermaid and royal palace which will give you access to nyhaven which is stunning.the hotel rooms are spacious and have everything you need but they can... This was a very good experience, the hotel is in a great location and the room and rooftop deck were very nice and comfortable. You are on a boat, so anticipate some gentle rocking in the night. I doubt you would find a better hotel experience in Copenhagen.

Very interesting and in fact a rather nice break from the ordinary. The room was as advertised, very clean and comfortable. There are few of the usual hotel amenities, but none were advertised. We rented bikes which was a great way to see the city after traveling all day. The cautions I might add, the front desk is not staffed... More

Though a bit doubtful, we took a punt and thought way not? Staying on a boat in Copenhagen might be fun. So many of our prior hotel stays in Europe this trip were in tiny rooms or houses so what a shock when we found the most generous space for a room on a boat! The view over the canal... More
