We stayed here as there were no hotels available in Esbjerg, the closet available being varde. The hostel exceeded our expectations, in that it is not a normal hostel but a 5+ star hostel with lovely private rooms (nicer than any of the European 3star hotels we have stated in). Many private lounges located through out the building. Food was... More

The service was attentive and swift. The room was very large and clean. Beds were comfortable. Furniture in room as well as in public areas were Danish design at its very best. Bathroom was large and comfortable. Located in the outskirts of town, it's some ten minutes brisk walk to the town centre, but that also makes it easily accessible... More

Well, I got to admit, I came as a walk-in and should have been happy to get a place to stay, but however, I had left the Danhostel with mixed feelings the next day and with definitely not much intention to return one day. I was going for a shared room, but they only had availability for a single. Prices... More
