Nice location close to Åen. However, be aware that this place is not serviced after 22.00, and that you have to enter the 'hotel' from dark backyard (not locked off at night), if you come in later. With stairs going from the backyard right up to my bedroom window, that was broken so it could not be locked proberly, this... More

I traveled to Aarhus, Denmark for business in Dec 2014. My luggage was delayed and I was without my essentials for 2 days. The hotel staff offered me a kit of essentials and I really appreciate their gesture. This is a services apartment with good amenities. Great location, right in the middle of the happening street, pubs and places to... More

This hotel is very central in Aarhus, on Aaboulevard, the pedestrian walkway along a canal. It's a nice setting, though it can be kind of noisy, as there are many bars along this way also, and it is a natural place for celebration. We were there on Skt Hans Day, when many kids are celebrating graduation form high school, so... More

I visited Ferdinand and stayed 3 nights Wednesday to friday. Nice and clean and good location on the 5th top floor. Noisy yes, but they have earplugs and I slept right through it. Great service and welcoming staff. Breakfast was fine but perhaps overpriced. Bed was super soft which I enjoyed a lot, but a strange hole between the madrasses...... More

I spent 1 night here with my girlfriend - from friday to saturday. I did not have breakfast, which seems like a good decision, when I read the other reviews ;-) Also, there are so many other offerings in the neighboorhood like Emery's bakery, which is only half price and better. The cool things about this hotel is that is... More

As part of a business trip to Aarhus my wife and I and a group of us were at this hotel for a few nights. Our travel arranger had been here before and called it a "nice, boutique hotel". As another reviewer has said, it seems to be an upmarket restaurant with a few floors of rooms thrown in. The... More

We were very happy with our room (actually a studio apartment) at the “Ferdinand Hotel, Bar and Restaurant.” We arrived by train from Copenhagen and could walk there from the train station. We checked in via the restaurant and were shown to our room in an adjoining building that appears to consist mostly of privately owned condos. Our room on... More

Quite difficult to place Hotel Ferdinand into a specific category. It's basically a luxurious and very expensive restaurant with a small number of apartments and suites attached and few apparent linkages between the two (you check in at the restaurant, but there are no hotel facilities like a lounge and no meal options for hotel guests). My wife and I... More

The manager greeted us upon check in. He is very friendly and accompanied us to our room. The room is nice and clean. For a European price, this is acceptable. We know that the area is in the center so we are prepared to bring our earplugs in case we could here the neighbors music. If you are a light... More

Hotel Ferdinand is situated in an area of Aarhus packed with good restaurants and loads of places to go have a drink. The hotel offers two types of accommodation; apartments and suites. I happened to see both, and stay in their business suite, which basically comprises of a nice bedroom with TV, a huge meeting room (with an even bigger... More
