I visited Ferdinand and stayed 3 nights Wednesday to friday. Nice and clean and good location on the 5th top floor. Noisy yes, but they have earplugs and I slept right through it. Great service and welcoming staff. Breakfast was fine but perhaps overpriced. Bed was super soft which I enjoyed a lot, but a strange hole between the madrasses...... More

I spent 1 night here with my girlfriend - from friday to saturday. I did not have breakfast, which seems like a good decision, when I read the other reviews ;-) Also, there are so many other offerings in the neighboorhood like Emery's bakery, which is only half price and better. The cool things about this hotel is that is... More

As part of a business trip to Aarhus my wife and I and a group of us were at this hotel for a few nights. Our travel arranger had been here before and called it a "nice, boutique hotel". As another reviewer has said, it seems to be an upmarket restaurant with a few floors of rooms thrown in. The... More

We were very happy with our room (actually a studio apartment) at the “Ferdinand Hotel, Bar and Restaurant.” We arrived by train from Copenhagen and could walk there from the train station. We checked in via the restaurant and were shown to our room in an adjoining building that appears to consist mostly of privately owned condos. Our room on... More

Quite difficult to place Hotel Ferdinand into a specific category. It's basically a luxurious and very expensive restaurant with a small number of apartments and suites attached and few apparent linkages between the two (you check in at the restaurant, but there are no hotel facilities like a lounge and no meal options for hotel guests). My wife and I... More

The manager greeted us upon check in. He is very friendly and accompanied us to our room. The room is nice and clean. For a European price, this is acceptable. We know that the area is in the center so we are prepared to bring our earplugs in case we could here the neighbors music. If you are a light... More

Hotel Ferdinand is situated in an area of Aarhus packed with good restaurants and loads of places to go have a drink. The hotel offers two types of accommodation; apartments and suites. I happened to see both, and stay in their business suite, which basically comprises of a nice bedroom with TV, a huge meeting room (with an even bigger... More

Cool 1 room studio. New, nice and clean. Only potential downside is noice from a bar opposite the hotel. However - my sprouce didn't notice it at all and I used the earplugs available at the room. Eat at the hotel rest. - it's great

This is not so much a reflection of the hotel as of the area where the hotel is located. It is VERY noisy. It feels like you are trying to sleep inside a club. The ear plugs that the management issues help, but do not completely cut out the noise. If you are a light sleeper this is not for... More

Denmark can be quite expensive so when we traveled with our two teenage kids this summer we tried to stay in one hotel room. At the Hotel Ferdinand we booked one room and were skeptical because we were not sure what the accommodations would be like. We were pleasantly surprised. We were in a large 2 bedroom suite that provided... More
