I stayed there in April 2013, so things might have changed. At that point, my impression was that it was a nice clean hotel with typically Danish / Scandinavian breakfast right in the city centre. Given hotel prices in Scandinavia, I thought that this hotel was a bargain, though the room was incredibly small - one can hardly believe that... More

The hotel is in a great location, very central and just off the main shopping street. They are currently undergoing some major expansion, and refurb of the older rooms, which will be welcome (as they are a bit dated). The rooms (or pods) themselves are obviously very small (even having upgraded to one of the larger rooms, not the bunk... More

The location right in the middle of Århus could hardly be better. Although when I stayed there, the main enterance was closed due to building work, so enterance was by the back by the river- a bit dark at night, and a bit "temporary" to look at. The rooms are small and basic, but that is the idea for the... More

I have been staying in this hotel for quite a while now and the only advantage this hotel has over it's alternatives is the PRICE. The rooms are tiny with windows facing backyard full of bins or canal that is either noisy or smelly. Breakfast for 70 DKK could really offer a bit more than cereals, some bread and cheese.... More

Its nice budget hotel, really close to the city centrum. Hotel is nice and room are kinda small, but understandable for that price. Breakfast on the toppest floor was good, but who wants walk all those stairs in the morning?

We got a 2-bed room as opposed to bunked beds. Try to avoid the canal view because the party in the pubs and clubs start after 11pm and go on until 3-4am. When you need to open your window for some fresh air (since there's no ac), you either need to sleep with your ear plugs on or be used... More

Upon check-in I noticed that there were several dozen creepy looking man hanging out around the lobby area. I asked the receptionist if it was a safe place for two single women to be staying and he assured me that they hired guards after 6 PM. However the three nights I stayed there the creepy men continued to hang no... More

Yes, this place is well located in the port / old centre, near the cathedral. Not the only one thereby, anyway. A bit noisy too. Service/reception? just to get keys. Cleaning just OK. Building old and in not fresh status, as the room interior. Breakfast just OK to poor. Price high. Nothing more than a B&B, really. For half the... More

Stayed for one night. The room was too small and cramped. Too disappointed for the expensive room rate. Will not reccomend for more than one night stay at an unavoidable situation !! WiFi was slow but OK. Breakfast was also ok. Very average but expensive.

All you need to sleep - also the motto of Cabinn - and they've hit the nail on the head. The motto used to be "sleep cheap in luxury" which was kind of misleading as there is nothing luxurious about it... Brilliant location - probably the best in town for any hotel (except maybe for super expensive Hotel Royal). Ask... More
