Hotel is very old fashioned but regretably this does not add any charm. The rooms were dirty as one look at the bed spread quickly showed. There was a nasty smell coming from the bathroom which hit you the minute you entered the door. Overall the hotel needs a drastic make over and the sooner the better. more

The hotel is very conveniently situated in the heart of beautiful Aalborg and gives a good first impression. However, on entering the lobby initial impressions changed. The lobby was depressingly decorated and there was a heavy smell of stale smoke in the air. Things did not get much better in our "non-smoking" rooms.
