Yes, traditional food, but/and the best of it. Knapp has been run by the family Dupont for decades - recently, the eldest daughter took over, after having returned from career-building engagements oversea. Father and daughter as well as the whole staff here seem to have profound respect for good food and wine and servicing their guests. Their home page is... More

First of all, Knapp is not only a restaurant, it's also a very special hotel. It's old, very old, you'll get a clear feeling of it when you arrive. The history goes back 173 years where it started as a mill for the local farmers. The milling was stopped and the place was transformed to - what it is today... More

Enjoyed an overnight stay with 3-course meal and was delighted with the character, details, quality of food and the service - with a few minor negative things. Only 5 rooms, 1 single, 3 double and 1 suite. We didn't have private bath, but it was right outside our door and was shared with just our neighbour, so no problem. Old... More

A small hotel/restaurant with tons of character - starting with your arrival at a perfectly converted old water mill in the middle of the forest Had a great room with plenty of space Our meal was excellent - with 5 courses all cooked to perfection Polite and professional staff and good service
