The hotel is situated just opposite the harbour In Troense on the small island Tåsinge. Tåsinge is connected to Fyn via a bridge. The hotel itself is rather good but I find the price a little high compared to the hotel's standard. Our room was in one of the annexes - I think most of the rooms are. It was... More

A genuine piece of Denmark. Excellent meals and the view from the restaurant towards the charming harbour is first class. Langeland, Odense, Faabarg are less than a hour away and for exploring the sourthern coast of Fyn it is ideally placed. The cleaning of the rooms could still be better, but overall a nice stay

Nice location, good view. But the lunch wasn't nice or good. Ordered a pork loin with danish rye bread, got a small plate with a lot of grease. Here there was no value for money on size or taste, if the portion had been twice the size and less greasy it would have been a medium review...hope they will sharpen... More

A thoroughly enjoyable room and stay. Only bummers were no truly free wifi, and no elevator to upper floor rooms. Very nice breakfast as well.

We don't know if all the rooms are recently renovated but the one we stayed in was.. Small and simple but bright and light. Great for a night or two in the beautiful area but not for a romantic getaway.. Have breakfast or dinner in one of the nearby restaurants..

Very nice and charming hotel, with beautiful view over the sea and small port. Stayed in the newly renovated annex of the hotel, very nice. Supposedly much better than the main building we where told, that hasn't been renovated lately. We only experience one major problem - in the restaurant in the evening. The restaurant was almost full, but only... More

The southern part of the island of Fyen is one of my most favorite places in Denmark. Narrowing it further down, the small city of Troense, across from the city of Svendborg, is one of my favorite cities in Denmark. Going a step further, the Hotel Troense could therefore rate as one of my favorite hotels in Denmark. The location... More

Recently we traveled through Denmark staying at small inns. Hotel Troense was a high spot in our visit. The inn overlooks the harbor and is very picturesque. The staff was pleasant and the room clean and spacious.
