The rooms in the hotel have been rebuild since, I last visited Hotel Christiansminde. This is OK, but doesn't give basis for a 30% price increase since 2011. Prime location, overlooking the waterfront and Svendborg Sund. Christiansminde is a very charming hotel with lots of excellent meeting facilities and great food. We were there on a one day creative conference and workshops - and the hotel& surroundings were really inspiring. Very friendly staff was attentative and helpful.

Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had the fish buffet dinner and sat outside on the deck looking out at the water. It was fantastic. There is a park next door with a playground and walking area.

Stayed here with as a family and enjoyed a lovely week-long stay. Bedrooms were on the small side but living space was fine and view superb, a pleasant walk into town and fantastic breakfasts. Especially good was access to a laundry and overall was fantastic value.
