Stayed at a nice hotel, Radisson SAS HC Andersen in Odense itself. Found lots to do and explore, was the weekend of the harbour event ,free music , dragon boat racing, various performing artists etc.weather was brilliant and the locals very friendly. I have stayed here two times, and it is just worse then bad. First time it was raining, and the water was coming through the roof (not just a slight dripping) the carpet was soaking wet I immediately called reception and told them of the problem, before we went out again. It's a comfortable hotel. Beds are too soft for me, but the rooms are big enough and warm. You have averything that you can need in the toilet, including hands cream, a nice detail in this cold country. Stayed here for one night. Spaciuos room and clean bathroom. If you are a non smoker do not stay here unless you are sure to get a non smoking room since the other rooms (I sniffed out four) are stale with old cigarette smoke stuck in the wall to wall carpet and textiles. Good location in the town center; but looks and feels dated. Rooms are ok in size but with dark old furniture and dark walls and carpet, which, in a country where the sky is frequently overcast, make then really depressing. Good restaurant, breakfast but poor choice of TV channels. I would not stay again more

This is an hotel I have been using intensively for business reason. Very good position near to the center and in a very nice area, walking distance from the train station. Restaurant and breakfast are average quality. Rooms are inadequate, without air conditioning and with a poor tv channel network. more
