Odense, Denmark, Outstanding B & B

Accomodation in Denmark is expensive and good B & B's hard to find, but we were lucky enough to obtain a brochure in the Tourist Information Office (Odense Turist Bureau, Vestergade 2, 5000, Odense Tel. [--] Fax 66 12 75 86 http://www.visitodense.com ) for two B & B's operated by Susanne Hviid Hansen at 9 Engvej, Odense (where we stayed) and Tietgens Alle 3, Odense. Located about 2 km south of the city, they are close together and about a 5 minute drive or 2 km walk to the centre of the city. Odense, the home of Hans Christian Andersen, lends itself to walking or cycling. The property we stayed in is in a quiet street with ample free parking and the double bedroom and the ensuite bathroom were spotless and the property excellently maintained.
