I was recently in Nyborg for a meeting and spent one night in the Hotel Villa Gulle because the Hotel Nyborg Strand was not available. The Hotel Villa Gulle was an unexpected and pleasant surprise; it is a bit old fashioned, but clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The food was excellent. Within walking distance of Nyborg railway station (but make sure you have a map). Very close to the town centre. I'd happily stay there again for a private stay; it is much cozier than the large and somewhat anonymous Best Western Nyborg Strand Hotel. more
