The hotel appears to be 5 stars but the service lets it down. the staff are friendly but can't really help you with organising anything. the spa is out of action indefinately and their english competancy is poor for a 5 star hotel more

First impressions were wonderful. The hotel and grounds were beautifully kept - I'm sure they would be even better with all the flowers in bloom. The rooms and common areas were decorated tastfully. The staff was very helpful and informative, except for one instance with housekeeping. It took over an hour to have one shirt ironed. We did dine in... more

It’s not that Imperial is a bad hotel, it is just that it is not a very good hotel and it certainly doesn’t live up to its 5 star pretensions. The room doesn’t seem too different to a Novotel room in size and quality. Meanwhile, our double bed is two singles with single sheets pushed together, there is a CD... more

Most reviews of the Larissa Imperial mention that this is probably the best hotel in Larissa. I will agree, however one needs to know that the competition is of an extremely poor quality. Which makes the Imperial just better than disaster... Starting with the good points (won't take long...), the hotel is located at the outskirts of the city, far... more

Nice, country-style hotel with free parking, and pool. Very clean, it's one of the best in town, so if you can find it in any nice price book it. I don't remember many details (but I do remember a good breakfast, and also nice dinner poolside!) but it's a quite and clean place to stay, and the staff was very... more

Have just spent 3 nights at this hotel, as we wanted to stay somewhere within a short drive from Meteora and Mt Olympus, and also somewhere with a pool where we could cool down after a hard morning/afternoon's walking. The hotel's location in Larissa was ideal for easy access to the highways in every direction, and the town centre only... more

The Imperial is an old hotel, which was bought-out and very extensively refurbished several years ago. Rooms are small, because that's the way it was done when the hotel was built. Our double room with extra bed consisted of two twin beds pushed together and a roll-away. With our two youngest kids with us, it was tight! (One slept on... more

Larissa Imperial in reality isn't a five-star hotel, because it lacks room service and clean, everywhere i was smelling smoke. Not ideal for non-smokers and children. The room, I stayed wasn't clean and it was smelling awfull. The food was spaggetti everyday. The desserts were frozen. The bouffet was very poor. This is a three or two-star hotel, not a... more

Recently I visited "Larissa Imperial" hotel in Greece and I must admit that I was very impressed by the tasteful food and the friendly staff who at every time made me feel a very special guest. I also enjoyed a refreshing spa treatment which I will for sure repeat at my next visit to the hotel. The front office staff,... more
