What a delightful hotel. Rooms were comfortable and a much higher standard than most Greek hotels. Breakfast was plentiful and varied from day to day. All in all a wonderful experience. Towels were changed daily and sheets 3 times during a weeks stay. The pool area was immaculate and the weekly barbecue excellent value.

We are a mixed Italian and Norwegian couple with a teenager daughter. We spent ten days in this hotel in the mid of August. The hotel was clean, all personnel very helpful and friendly, speaking good English and even some Italian. We spent some days on the different beaches of the island and some at the hotel pool. Very relaxing.... More

We so miss the jasmine and pine scents of Skopelos. Spent 2 weeks at htoel Dionysos with 2 teens. Genuinely cannot fault it. If you want to experience a warm, well fed and hospitable Greek family run hotel this is the place to be, 5 mins by foot from the harbour edge. Lovely family members, especially the Yiayia or Grandmother... More

The rooms are quite basic especially the bathrooms which are very outdated. The breakfast is good and the staff is really nice. The swimming pool is great. The location in the old city near the port is good.

I went this year with my son. The Hotel was lovely, relatively modern and up to date. I worry a little when we foreigners go to Greece and expect it to be like the UK only better; you go to Greece for the whole experience and if you want a sanitised british experience then book yourself into a bubble in... My friend and I were lucky to sat here in June. Although it was only 3 nights it was very enjoyable. Room was cleaned daily, towels changed. A/C worked and was free. Service was excellent , security good, always someone on the front desk and they spoke and understood English. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, the Chef was a... More

Typically Greek hotel in old part of town. Close to the centre. Staff very friendly, bed linen and towels clean. Bathroom floor was not cleaned for 3 days as we noticed dirt on the floor however, after it was spotless. Main areas very clean and pool area clean. Nice large pool and plenty of sun beds. Breakfast rather boring with... More

Had a great 7 days relaxing by the poolside - many of the other guests choose to visit beaches dotted around the island - so we virtually had the pool to ourselves most days - very relaxing. Enough sun beds and umbrellas to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned daily. Hotel interior and rooms are all fitted... More

My friend and I stayed here from 11th - 25th September 2013. The hotel is lovely, traditional Greek, but fairly basic, i.e we had no kettle in the room to make hot drinks. We did have a fridge though, which was useful and a small television. The air conditioning was free. A lot of cupboard space and the bathroom was... More
