I went this year with my son. The Hotel was lovely, relatively modern and up to date. I worry a little when we foreigners go to Greece and expect it to be like the UK only better; you go to Greece for the whole experience and if you want a sanitised british experience then book yourself into a bubble in... My friend and I were lucky to sat here in June. Although it was only 3 nights it was very enjoyable. Room was cleaned daily, towels changed. A/C worked and was free. Service was excellent , security good, always someone on the front desk and they spoke and understood English. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices, the Chef was a... More

Typically Greek hotel in old part of town. Close to the centre. Staff very friendly, bed linen and towels clean. Bathroom floor was not cleaned for 3 days as we noticed dirt on the floor however, after it was spotless. Main areas very clean and pool area clean. Nice large pool and plenty of sun beds. Breakfast rather boring with... More

Had a great 7 days relaxing by the poolside - many of the other guests choose to visit beaches dotted around the island - so we virtually had the pool to ourselves most days - very relaxing. Enough sun beds and umbrellas to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned daily. Hotel interior and rooms are all fitted... More

My friend and I stayed here from 11th - 25th September 2013. The hotel is lovely, traditional Greek, but fairly basic, i.e we had no kettle in the room to make hot drinks. We did have a fridge though, which was useful and a small television. The air conditioning was free. A lot of cupboard space and the bathroom was... More

We chose the Hotel based on previous Tripadvisor reviews and it was pretty much what everyone had said. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good by European standards with the usual continental options of cereal, cold meats and cheese, fresh bread, yoghurt, fruit and wonderful honey plus 2 hot options. The rooms were a good size... More

2nd time at the Dionyssos and again, weren't disappointed. Super location just out of the town but close enough to walk into the centre and on the front. There are several options of getting into the centre without having to walk up the rather steep and sometimes slippy road. The road being slippy due to the amount of scooters that... More

Had a fantastic holiday at the Dionyssos from 31st July to 14th August & can honestly say that we had no complaints whatsoever. The continental breakfasts by greek standards are superb (plenty of choice and as much as you want). The rooms are more than adequate, we had a side view & i'm sure there are better views from the...
