This is a lovely hotel with stunning views over the Aegean. I would recommend getting a room upgrade so you get nicer decor and better views. The food is really good especially breakfast. I would recommend staying at skopelos village on any trip to the island.

This hotel looks great when you arrive and has a nice ambience and vibe. Rooms clean and grounds nice. But we felt it was a bit sterile - maybe because we were room-only there was no sense of hotel atmosphere. Pools were pretty good. We were not blessed with best rooms being on the ground floor, so didn't get the... More

and our package included a 2 week stay at the Skopelos Village Hotel. Our first impression was a little disappointing as we were given an "upgrade" (a 2 bedroom apartment as opposed to the one bedroom we had booked and paid for) which was anything but - a rather dark apartment with a tiny bathroom. We immediately asked for a... More

We have just returned from a two week stay at Skopelos Village Hotel. Location: A beautiful island, very quiet, traditional, well worth a visit. If there is a downside you need to take a ferry to get to the island and timetables don’t coincide with airport arrivals and departures, we had a three hour wait at Skiathos going and a... More

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel but our third visit to Skopelos and as I wrote in the visitors book when we first stayed, 'everything works!' However the best thing about the hotel is its location - only 10mins walk to the centre of Skopelos Town but quiet enough to enjoy relaxing days sunbathing by... More

We stayed in Skopelos Village this September, having stayed previously in July 2010. We love the hotel, which combines self-catering facilities with a hotel environment - so you can make your own fresh coffee and fill the fridge with beer and wine but also benefit from daily cleaning and fresh towels. This time we had the added bonus of being... More

The Skopelos Village Hotel is located in a prime spot, just far enough from the bustle of Skopelos Town to be peaceful and close enough to be a stroll away from a host of tavernas. The hotel itself has an excellent restaurant "Agioli" with a wide choice of authentic Greek dishes at reasonable prices. The apartments are self-catering but you... More

The apartment was spacious, clean and attractive. We had two small balconies, both with a sea view. The self-catering kitchen equipment seemed a bit limited which didn't matter to us because we always ate out. The two pools were extremely clean, very pretty and quiet with decent sunbeds. Not sure if it's because we weren't in peak season, but the... More

Dear Emma_Andy100, Firstly we would like to once more thank you for your preference in our hotel. Please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience you experienced both regarding the unacceptable incident with your key being left on the door and regarding the awkward misunderstanding with your ferry tickets. This is a really nice hotel and possibly one of the best in Skopelos. It's a gentle 10/15 minute walk from the port area which is at the centre of the waterfront area. For independent travellers the walk to the hotel is just about do-able - providing you're not carrying too many cases! The hotel is right on the waters... More

Easily the best hotel in Skopelos - booked through Thomas Cook, 1 week staying in the old part of the hotel. When we arrived we did quickly realise that our 1 bed room was not big enough for the 3 of us, but the balcony could only sit 2. This problem was rectified the next day by us upgrading our... More
