This is probably one of the best deals on Hydra. The rooms are great. Some are huge. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is friendly and warm except for the young lady who works there (her name escapes me ) who often crosses the line between friendly and too direct and bossy. But that's minor. She's still very helpful when... More

We stayed five nights at the hotel in December. From the get-go we were made very welcome by our host, Stelios, and he continued to offer good advice and assistance throughout our stay. Very much appreciated! Our room was not large but was well-appointed and comfortable, with en suite shower/bath. We had a balcony overlooking the street, and it was... More

This boutique hotel was quite charming. It was far enough up the hill in Hydra to feel secluded and quiet, but convenient to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and roomy with a large patio shared with one other room (although we never had to share.) The umbrellas provided much needed shade. Breakfast was bountiful. We stayed two nights... Stayed here in late July 2014 with my wife and 3 children. We had 2 adjacent rooms. This is a small owner-operated hotel. The hotel is in 2 traditional Hydra-style houses - one across the small sidewalk/street from the other. The 2 houses were converted into a hotel. The owner and and the staff obviously take great pride in maintaining... More

Really beautiful little place. Room (Nike) was spotless. Huge shower/bathroom, much more typical of USA than Europe. Staff were great. Breakfast is included and is full breakfast not a small continental type thing - delicious eggs, sausage, cappuccino, pastries, fruit etc. You will definitely not need to plan for breakfast. Wifi is blazingly fast, fastest we found in Greece. It... More

A really nice hotel, with good sized rooms and bathrooms. Also a good sized outdoor area, just outside the room. Clean, tidy in general and a very friendly staff! The hotel is divided into two houses, but this only gives you a sense of space and quietness. I will return.

After the ferry docks, locals direct tourist to the clock tower to find the narrow lane that leads to the family run hotel a short walk from the harbor up a cobble path. In a wonderful restored indigenous style architecture, the old grandparents home, is this sweetheart. Owner and front desk saved us in medical dilemma of "tourist tummy," that... More

Angelica Hotel is a beautifully decorated boutique hotel. We opted to stay for 3 nights in May and had booked a room with a private terrace. We were offered the Poseidon room in the main building of the hotel. The room was graceful in its design and featured air-conditioning, a large high tech safety deposit box and a small fridge.... We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were impressed from the start with how friendly and professional everyone was. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with a large private terrace outside and breakfast was good. The hotel has a good location near the port, but not too near as to be noisy in the evenings. The... More

We stayed 3 nights in April 2014. The hotel has a great location, just a short walk to/from the port. Angelica is a beautiful hotel and our room was beautiful. Very good breakfast. Our room was quiet and I either couldn't hear the roosters or else I slept right through them! Terrible internet. There was not enough bandwidth even though... More
