Overall hotel was great and proprietor was very responsive. Only problems were the wifi was really poor and the hotel is a 10 minute walk up the mountain. I would stay here again. It's also conveniently close to Floras pastry shop which had the best gelato in Greece.

We just got back from a week at the delightful Angelica hotel where we were looked after by Vangelis and his team. This is a beautiful, luxury guesthouse positioned perfectly just above the town square so nicely elevated to escape the crowds and enjoy a 5 min stroll up the prettiest street in Hydra. Breakfasts were an event themselves in... More

We stayed a week and the owner couldn't have been nicer. He was helpful but not pushy. Our room was lovely with a private balcony to read or enjoy the afternoon breeze. The bed was VERY firm and the room cleaned daily. The downstairs courtyard was perfect for breakfast each morning. There was a good selection of hot and cold... More

one of the best boutique hotels in Hydra with large comfortable rooms and nicely decorated. The owners are friendly and helpful, breakfast is served in the little garden at the entrance of the hotel. It is value for money although you have to walk but Hydra is all about walking between the traditional houses !!!

Mid-March is probably not the best time to visit Hydra. We had overcast skies both days we were here. However, we were able to easily walk from the hotel to the harbor and along the coastline trail to get pretty views of the villages and watch the burros haul construction materials up the rocky paths. When it rained in the... More

This is probably one of the best deals on Hydra. The rooms are great. Some are huge. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is friendly and warm except for the young lady who works there (her name escapes me ) who often crosses the line between friendly and too direct and bossy. But that's minor. She's still very helpful when... More

We stayed five nights at the hotel in December. From the get-go we were made very welcome by our host, Stelios, and he continued to offer good advice and assistance throughout our stay. Very much appreciated! Our room was not large but was well-appointed and comfortable, with en suite shower/bath. We had a balcony overlooking the street, and it was... More

Hotel Angelica is a very well maintained family run hotel on beautiful Hydra. The staff is very friendly, the rooms very clean and beautifully decorated. The sun deck with the jacuzzi is a nice place to stay after the beach. Great breakfast and an extra plus for the bottle of water waiting for us in our room every afternoon –... More

This boutique hotel was quite charming. It was far enough up the hill in Hydra to feel secluded and quiet, but convenient to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and roomy with a large patio shared with one other room (although we never had to share.) The umbrellas provided much needed shade. Breakfast was bountiful. We stayed two nights...
