WOW! The view from the Zeus room across the water is the screensaver on one desktop, two I-phones one I-pod and an I-Pad. It was on the second day of our stay that we wanted to phone in our immediate retirement intentions to our respective employers and discuss a long term lease for the Zeus Room. (or any other room.... We stayed in the "Orion" room in September 2013. The room is the largest and highest on the property and offers a terrace with suprb views, a private balcony, canopied bed and 360 views from its many windows. My only complaint is that if your going to have a great big TV in a room please get it a signal!... More

Just returned from Nefeli after yet another wonderful time on Hydra. Nefeli is number 1 for hospitality, relaxation, sensational views and all round good time. Brett and gang understand their guests and tailor make the holiday to suit.......you are helped to do as little or as much as you want. Rooms are traditional and very comfortable....great air conditioning and a... More

We can really recommend this nice hotel. We stayed there for two week and we loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Rooms are nice and the view is amazing. We used from 7 to 10 minutes up the stairs and it was a very nice walk. We will come back.

We have just returned from Hydra and staying at this hotel which was fantastic. I was worried having read the other reviews about the number of steps up but they are only shallow and we didn't find them a problem. (Although would definitely recommend getting a mule to carry heavy luggage and show you the way when you arrive.) Our... More

I just can't stop going to this little slice of paradise. This time we got upgraded by the manager as we were loyal clients to a stunning room on the top floor over looking the sea, simply stunning. Breakfast was as normal nice and simple with fresh juice, fresh bread which is still warm if you get up early enough,... More

This hotel is inaccessible for the elderly or for anyone not in perfectly fit condition. The climb takes over 20 minutes with steep steps. Once arrived after sweating and breathing hard, there is nothing up top. You must go back down each time you want to go to the port, have meals or have a drink. We did not stay... More

I chose the Nefeli after reading the reviews and the description of the walk upward to have the views and the tranquility. Keri the hostess is charming and welcoming and the breakfast is very nice. However, we felt hard done by once we saw our room which was bijoux to say the least. We thought it wouldn't bother us too... More

Fab island and fab little hotel on top of hill. Very clean. Just been painted. Was one of the first guests of the season. Couldnt fault it. Met my expectations. Be prepared to do some walking and wear sensible shoes.

It was our first visit to Greece and friends recommended Hydra and the Hotel Nefeli. We are so glad they did. The island is amazing and our hosts were there to meet us. The walk up the hill took us about 15 minutes but we took it slow . Scenery was amazing. Hotel was just as we imagined all white... More
