Hydroussa is not far from the port of the island but at the same time it offers a relatively calm place to chill. The decoration is stunning, the breakfast one of the best I ever had in Greek hotels and the people who work there very sweet and helpful. The access to the rooms is not for people with disabilities.... More

We loved our stay at Hydroussa hotel in Hydra. It is only 7 minutes walk from the port, in a very good location in front of a nice small park. The front yard is beautiful and the garden is green and relaxing to have breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and had lots of choices. We were very pleased with breakfast... More

Nice traditional hotel with a great traditional ambience and nice and helpful staff. Marvelous garden where we enjoyed our breakfast. The rooms are traditionally furnished and seem dated but our bathroom was recently renovated and absolutely modern.

I stayed in the rooms with already refurbished bathroom. The most functional modern bathroom made with simple materials not overly big although spacious enough but feeling like a 5 star luxury double the size.Well done. The staff is friendly and willing to serve with no fuss and discreetly as it should be.

If you like to stay in a traditional hotel with a great traditional ambience and don't care much about comfort this is for you. On the upside the garden is marvellous and the staff is nice. The rooms are traditionally furnished. On the downside the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise each morning from... More

Hydra is a very special island and the Hydroussa a very special Hotel. We stayed there for three nights last week having escaped from the clamour of Athens and our batteries were completely recharged after 72 hours. Yes, the Hydroussa has electricity. So much so that the light switches work, the air conditioning hums, the beers are cold and the... More

Me and my partner were attending a wedding on the island and booked this hotel as it was one suggested by the bride to be. Before arriving we really didn’t know what to expect as we had read a few mixed reviews about the hotel. Having said that we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel itself is a beautiful building with... More

Hotel is a lovely building in the heart of town with a lovely terrace area for breakfasts. This should have been such a lovely hotel trip but it just failed in so many ways. 1 Beware, their on-line booking system seems to be hopelessly slow to update and is not a true indication of room availability. I booked a room... More

It s the largest Hotel in Hydra, situated in the heart of the Town. It 's very close to the Port, to the 3 Museums, to The Cathedral and to all the bars&restaurants and tourist-shops of the Town. There is a very nice planted yard in the front of the building, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning,... More
