i visited hydroussa hotel with 2 friends. The rooms and the hotel were clean. Also the hotel is only 2 minute walk from hydra's port (which is the "center" of the island). The only thing that disappoint me was the breakfast. But this isnt a big problem because there are many mini-markets near the hotel. I recommend this hotel because is very good... More

Great value for money hotel, literally 2 minutes of walk from the port of Hydra, close to everything, very good breakfast, spacious rooms cleaned every day. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. P.s. Hydra is a magnificent romantic island

Indeed a glorious building and we could imagine it would have been a wonderful stay had it not been 30th-31st October. However the staff could not get away on their holidays fast enough and turned off the hot water on the evening of the 30th as they were closing on 31st. We therefore had cold showers both in the evening... More

Hydra is a very historic and unique little island with history of the seafaring Greeks and the Hydrosussa Hotel really lets you discover this feel with the historic building, furniture and setting. The basic rooms with the high white ceilings and carved wood furniture gives you experience of times past. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this... More

I stayed for 6 nights & loved the hotel, beautiful building, it is traditionally furnished & so maybe wouldn't suit if you are looking for modern comforts. It was clean, room serviced daily, friendly staff. Really great location a few minutes walk from port with lots of great bars & restaurants. It has a lovely courtyard & the wifi works... More

After my daughter's wedding in Athens we went to Hydra and stayed at the Hydroussa Hotel for 3 nights. It was very good value at a very reasonable price. My adult family had 3 rooms which were all very clean. The hotel has an old world feel and décor. Good breakfast which we enjoyed outdoors each morning. The duty manager... More

On a beautiful island full of enchanted and enchanting places, the Hydroussa Hotel was our highlight. Wonderfully atmospheric, with a nautical air and pretty old furniture and fabrics in the lounges and friendly cats and staff. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and keep the nautical touches and have views over the flowers and courtyards of the adjacent whitewashed buildings.... More

This hotel is a bit up the hill from the port, away from the crowds and very quiet. Very good buffet breakfast, which you could eat inside or out. Excellent and friendly service, which seems to be the norm in Greece.

We requested a superior double room for 2 nights and albeit no balcony, we liked the elegant colonial feel of this hotel, central and comfortable. No lift, but a cheerful man on hand to effortlessly whizz your luggage to your room! Breakfast was buffet style in a dark diningroom and had some healthy options, and lovely courtyard to enjoy eating... More

Friends invited us to their wedding on the island of Hydra in Greece. Beautiful island 2hrs ferry from Athens. We stayed at the Hydroussa Hotel, just refurbished rooms as expected clean and plenty of space, toilet and bathing facilities excellent. A good spread for breakfast, continental. Plenty of good restaurants around the small harbor 5 minuets from the hotel. Water... More
