My wife and I stayed here on our quick jaunt to Hydra and were immensely pleased with the hotel. The room was spotless and the hotel has some nice character. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was quite good. It's somewhat further back from the main area of Hydra Town, but if you don't mind a bit... More

Hydra is a beautiful island, easily accessible from Athens. The hotel is lovely with spacious rooms, some with access to private terraces. The location is great for proximity to the harbor and walking about the island. The staff was courteous and the home cooked style breakfasts were varied and exceptional.

We chose the Hotel Mistral by reading over reviews and sorting through online photos. We went with high expectations and our experience at the hotel far exceeded what we hoped for. The hotel is close to the harbour, which is great because the harbour is a wonderful place to hang out but it feels secluded and so peaceful as you... More

We are returning! Hotel Mistral, is the perfect place to unwind, relax and experience a Greek vacation of the 1960's, only with the amenities of today! Owners, Theo and Jenny, go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful visit. Be sure to start your day with their home-cooked and baked breakfast in the garden terrace. All... More

Stayed here recently as part of a family trip. I have to say it's one the best hotels I've ever stayed in, spotlessly clean, amazing breakfast, happy faces and a stone's throw from all the great Hydra amenities.

When visiting Hydra for the first time we were very lucky to find Mistral and enjoy a 3 nite stay. When enjoyed a room with a balcony overlooking the town with views of the harbor in the distance. The owners are wonderful & serve delicious breakfasts on their garden terrace. Every breakfast had different servings & were freshly. The owners... More

Our stay at the Mistral was a great pleasure from beginning to end. The booking was easily done on the Internet, and closer to the time we received a prompt and welcoming response to our reservation confirmation. When we arrived at the Hydra harbour, hot and tired, there was someone waiting to transport our suitcases and guide us on the... More

Stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The whole experience of getting off the ferry in Hydra and wheeling our luggage along the cobblestoned lanes and finding our way to Hotel Mistral was so much fun. There are donkeys at the port that will transport luggage and people but we decided to try on our own…we did use the cart... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Hydra at this hotel and it was a place we would love to return to. Jenny and her husband Phyllus are lovely people and very helpful. Jenny helped book us our taxi pickup for the Athens airport with a friend of hers which worked out perfectly - thank you Jenny. The breakfasts... More
