Hotel Hydra is a guesthouse, not a hotel. Rooms are small. The shower curtain may stick to your skin in case you mind that. It is quiet. Location is a good five minutes walk from the harbor which we did not mind but just be aware. A porter can be called to transport luggage to and from the port. There... More

This lovely hotel is situated in a quiet street in Hydra town. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast (served in the garden) is a small wonder: every morning the guest is surprised with a huge tray full of delicacies: a small bowl of soup, pastry, fresh rolls, orange juice, yoghurt, and of course coffee and... Hotel Mistral brings you the sensation that it is your home and you are there for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast is excellent and Theo ,Jenny's husband, makes beautiful and delicious pastries. Jenny has really made this into a must stay hotel when you visit the island of Hydra!

What a treat to come to Hydra and stay ay such a marvelous hotel which feels like family. Jenny, manager, greets you with a smile and warmth that makes you feel you have known each other for years. Her res for food, activities, and swimming were right on. Breakfast is to die for it changes daily. Hope you get the... More

The breakfast at Mistral is unique and a reason itself to stay here. Add Jenny and Theo, great rooms and a friendly staff to the equation and you got a winner. Hydra is a beautiful "must visit" island and do not hesitate to book Hotel Mistral.

Anna and I spent my 72nd birthday on the unique and beautiful island of Hydra with its refreshing lack of motorised vehicles (except a very few for essential services) its profusion of donkeys, its buzzing waterfront, and its delightful confusion of winding lanes and piled up picturesque buildings. We loved the island, of course, but what made the experience almost... More

One downside if you have kids: there's No pool - if that's something you can't be without - but besides from that: great, old fashioned High Class place with tremendous service and a breakfast to die for that changes every day. We stayed for two days and would have loved to stay longer.

We keep returning back every year to Hydra island mainly because of the people here and secondly for the beauty of this island. When we think of Hydra we think Mistral hotel. Mistral Hotel is a superb, elegant hotel in the heart of the island, which is owed by two beautiful people, Jenny and Theofilos, who make our holidays perfect... More

Our only regret is we only stayed a single night on this island and at this wonderful hotel. The location is beautiful, up against the hillside. Lush, relaxing courtyard, comfortable and charming room, and incredible breakfast all await you! Can't wait to visit again.

My daughter and I stayed here and would definitely choose this hotel again! The hosts are delightful and want to be sure you enjoy your stay. The decor is beautiful, yet provides a comfortable, unpretentious atmosphere. The breakfast in the courtyard is amazing - everything was fresh and delicious, and so abundant that we hardly needed another meal all day!... More
