Maybe good in the 50's but nothing was changed since then!

I have traveled extensively through Europe and this is the worst place I have ever stayed. You would probably be better off sleeping in a youth hostel or on a park bench. The sparta inn may not be a five star but my family and i got he 5 star treatment. nothing was to much to ask for.from staff to maids all fantastic made our stay one to remember thanks to all at the sparta inn john vicky ellen & thomas koutsodimitropoulos.

The hotel is truly long overdue for renovation, however the rooms were very clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the house maids changed ouir linen daily. The hotel was simple, but clean. Contrary to written below, there are English-language television channels (ant1, mega, for example). The showers are the same everywhere in Greece; because of its geographical location, water pressure is low. My only complaint would be the restaurant; it was too expencive and you definitely didn't get your money's worth.
