It is a nice hotel located on the beach, it is a little old, but the service is great. the food is quite good and a very reasonable prices. There is free wi-fi, although it is low speed, and you have to log in every 3 hours. The location of the hotel is easy to reach in Patras, since there... More

The Achaia Beach Hotel is an older hotel that has been done up recently. Unfortunately, the outside of tghe hotel still resembles the hotels built in the 1980s. Once inside, the guest can see the changes and appreciate the effort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds needed some attnetion though. The matresses are extremely hard and definately have... More

Spent 2 nights here en route between athens & brindisi. Service & price reasonable. great views of the Rion bridge. Recommended. 9 euro cab ride from the bus terminal or take the hourly train (more of a tram). We'd go again.

I needed an hotel room while attending a conference at Patras University. The Achaia Beach hotel was recommended by the organizer and almost every attendees booked a room there. My sister and I have chosen a double room with mountain view. - Room: The room was large, clean with twin bed. We had complimentary coffee and wi-fi in the room.... More

I needed to stay in rio for work and wife and kid decided to join. They had fun between the swimming pool and the beach during the day. Nearby beach bar make good affordable food. Mini market s are iut of walking distance. Breakfast is acceptable despite they charge if you ask for an espresso.

We were squeezed into a 3 person bedroom which made the room quite tight during our 3 day stay. Suggest this is not optimum if you need a bit of space. The bathrooms was good although the blow drier was ridiculous. A vacuum style hose with little or no power to straighten Greek curly hair. The view was very nice... More

Stayed here with my now wife right after we got engaged. I will say it was our best stay in a hotel so far. The room was clean & well spacious. Room service was very good, the private beach was a major plus. And the sea view room we had made our nights extra special

It was our third visit to the hotel--stayed there overnight before while connecting to and from the Patras/Venice ferry. This was to be a similar visit, but as we came off the motorway, our brakes seized on. The staff of the hotel could NOT have been more helpful. Fortunately we had European break down cover--but this happened at 6.30pm on... More

Listed building which has been comfortably refurbished in a suburb just outside Patras, right on the water's edge. Breathtaking views of the Patriakos Gulf and the mountains of Sterea Hellas across the water. Stunning sunsets over the sea with Cephalonia in the distance. Looking eastwards, there are fabulous views of the Rio-Antirrio suspension bridge. Staff are polite, food is good... More

Older hotel right on the beachfront with a wonderful view across the mouth of the Gulf but the view to "that bridge" is stunning. We stood on our balcony watching a great thunderstorm sweep down the gulf over the bridge with dramatic lighting highlighting the bridge throughout the storm The reception staff were helpful but command of English was not good....
