Pro's: buffet breakfast was fab and had hot and cold, lots of choice. Room service with alright prices, Big reception area and friendly staff. Free toiletries. Stunning sea view from balcony. Incredibly comfy beds. Lovely bath tub. Lots of storage, extra blankets and pillows. 30secs from KTEL Achaias depot, 10 mins from KTEL Fokidas. Great bathroom. Cons: very dated (we... More

Astir is an old Hotel right in front of the port of Patras. I don't know if it used to be considered a good hotel in the 60s but now it is bad, very bad. Needs restoration, paint jobs, new blankets, sheets, curtains, everything...! Most important though, is that it needs new policies. Services like parking and breakfast that were... More

Spent 2 nights during easter vacation, we chose this hotel for all we read at the site, but nothing was true...: No smoking room(though we ask for one), no WF, old & dirty marble (;) bathroom, toiletries only with a soap and a shower liquid, no even a small shower cap for the ladies, broken lamp out of work(we ask... The hotel is very central location. But this is the only good thing about it. It is very old, not renovated, the service was bad and the stuff was even rude sometimes. The breakfast was poor, cold and mot fresh.... It is a pity for such a central hotel.

This probably was a 4 star hotel in 1955 but sadly no longer. The hotel would benefit from an entire make-over. However, to be fair, our room was large, warm and the bed comfortable. The staff were pleasant and there was an underground car park (for an extra charge of €8). Breakfast was okay and the entire place was full... More

I believe that the best thing about this Hotel is the location, because it is central located in Patras and only two minutes’ walk from the bus station. The pool area on the rooftop has a nice view over the city, and it is always nice to have the opportunity to have a swim in the sun. The View from... More

We arrived in friday evening, a time with heavy traffic in Patra, after 5 hours on the road. We were relaxed about parking the car because in the hotel at booking.com is claiming to have private parking. Yes they have for the first 20 lucky visitors. The receptioninst without any guilt told us to find our selfs a place to... More

Situated at the center of the city it is ideal because anything you need is within walking distance. The room is spacious and clean and a problem that occurred with hot water was solved in 20 minutes. The staff/service is polite and old fashioned which is nice. The breakfast was all right and the price of the room was very... More

I spent one night only, yesterday. The hotel staff was very accomodating, eager to service as in any way. Clean room, a little ol style with marble tables etc but clean. Good sleep on the double bed. The wifi was there but not strog enough to surf with no problem. There is a pool, we didnt visit it. There is... More

We wanted a hotel that is close to the Patras' city center but is not very expensive. I have found the Astir hotel : decent, clean, steps away from city's center and in an area that you can find (if you are lucky) parking too ! Even if it's not recently renovated, it keeps an old charm. We had room... More
