We spent four nights at the Primarolia Hotel recently (for the Orhtodox Easter holidays) with our two daughters, aged 7 & 6. It is trully an art hotel, full of original works of art, rooms are decorated differently (i.e. why there are no numbers but names for each room) and one gets the impression of staying at an art tycoon's... very beautiful hotel, but unfortunately with no comfort. The personal staff was unprofessional, they were not ready to help you. We took the honeymoon suite, it was with 2 single mattresses and 2 single blankets, the water was cold, and when we asked for a double blanket they told us THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE!! breakfast was poor and cold, i... I spent 2 nights recently at the Primarolia hotel in Patras. The good: Very good location close to the city center and all bars, cafes, & restaurants. The breakfast was nice although I did not see any hot items, but that might have been because I was late. The bad: My room was on the 1st floor at the back... More

Primarolia is a boutique hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and service areas. The character of each suite is complimented stylishly with paintings, sculpture, light fittings and soft furnishings. Walking around the hotel, waiting in the lobby, or having breakfast becomes an occasion. The hosts are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about local transport and attractions. The hotel is situated within easy... More

Service is outstanding. The breakfast is good enough - you really don't need to go past a bowl of Greek yoghurt and a coffee! Rooms are clean and unique.

One of my best stays ever regarding art and/or boutique hotels.. I've stayed in this hotel more than once and actually to be honest whenever I visit my parents in the island I come from (Ithaca) I always arrange (on purpose!) a 1-day stopover in Patras so that I can re-visit the hotel. It is very centrally located, exactly opposite... More

I had come to the decision several month's ago, that my mid-life crisis was not going to be a sports car or another woman, It was going to be a trip from Manchester, in the UK, to Greece. On my own and by 6 train's, a ferry and 3 buses. I left home at 7:40 on the Tuesday and arrived... More

We were pretty happy with the experience overall apart from one thing. Service was fine, breakfast was ok, a designer hotel, lots of arty and architectural details everywhere, the room was a decent size and a nice espresso machine waiting for us. But. The toilet became clogged after the first use! We mentioned it to the reception and it being... More
