After 6 nights at 2 smaller Greek hotels, though very nice, it was a pleasure to get back to a more American style hotel with large rooms, cold air-conditioning, and a big pool. Quiet setting, all rooms seem to have a nice balcony with a view over a peaceful valley (away from the town of Olympia). Breakfast was good, but... more

a great little place to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Rooms nicely appointed - fresh, new even if standard. Pool is pretty and clean. Location good. restaurant passable. more

Apparently the Olympion Asty was the altnerate hotel option for our tour group of 26. The other group was larger and stayed at the Hotel Europa. We were so pleased that we got to stay at this hotel. The setting is beautiful and our room was lovely and spacious with a nice balcomy. The food was good, and enjoying dinner... more

My friend and I have just returned from a three week field trip around the Peloponnese - an experience neither of us cares to repeat. Towards the end of our tour, we stayed at the Olympion Asty for three nights. On the penultimate day of our tour, my friend asked the manager (who I believe is also the owner) if... more

We were on a 3 week, small group tour of Greece with Adventures Abroad. This was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Too bad it was just for one night. The hotel is on a hill above Olympia. The room was large and elegant and had a view from the patio that was awesome. The bathroom... more

This is a wonderful hotel with a great feel throughout all the public spaces. The view from the pool and dinning areas is breath-taking. The room was spacious and the overall experience was fantastic. What we liked best is that is was not full of tour groups (such as at the B-W Europa). Every night was a delight while we... more

We were staying 2 nights at this hotel visiting the ancient ruins of the birthplace of the Olympic games, and had chosen Olympion Asty more or less by accident because it is quite new and pictures on the hotel's site seemed nice. Welcome was very friendly, rooms very spacious, view from some of them must be beautiful. On the "lower deck"... more

We loved the Asty, the best hotel we stayed at during our tour of classical Greece with Cosmos. We had a huge room in the chalet-style bungalows which are clustered around the main reception/restaurant/bar/pool area. Our room seemed brand new, as does most of the hotel. Room has great air con, it was quiet, had a seating area, very clean,... more

We have just returned from a week stay at the Asty in Olympia, and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful family run hotel. It is located very close to the ruins and the main town, but you have the feeling that you're in the countryside. The property is situated upon a hill with fantasic views of the area. It is a very peaceful... more
