Great Bar, room faced olive orchard, had a balcony. Nice staff. No plugs in room, unless you unplug the tv or lamp. The hardest bed I have ever slept on. Overall this is a good budget hotel, but if you expect 4 star quality, go somewhere else

My husband and I ended up in this hotel as part of a tour booked through Viator. This review is for the hotel, I have reviewed the tour separately. The hotel is rather spartan, but clean. Very hard beds, practically a board with a sheet on top. No in room safe, and no way to lock the door from the... More

This hotel listed itself as a four star resort. This might have been true in 1970. The beds were rock hard, the decor hadn't been changed in decades, and the food was unappetizing and expensive. It was, however, clean and the staff was English speaking. All in all, a disappointment. There was an off-putting yellow lined pool in the lobby.... More

It's not the Hilton but I thought is was more than nice enough. Wifi and breakfast available. Pool in the garden. Restaurant and bar were good. I had no complaints. Traveled with a tour group and spent one night in many different hotels across Greece. All the ones I stayed in were reserved by my tour group and they were... More

Nice hotel, part of chain hotels. Staff is very polite, fluent English. Big rooms with garden views. Big balconies, big pool with sun beds and umbrellas. Wifi is said to be in lobby only, but it was available in room also, free of charge. Ideal for studying ancient Olympia and not only it. Not far is medieval Chlemoutsi castle, Appolo... More

Sleek minimalist decor in lobby and rooms. Room decor was spartan /sparse, the two twin beds were low and hard. Had to unplug lamps to recharge electronic devices and I was unable to reach a wifi network from my room on my iPad. Other members of my tour group were able to get a network from fheir rooms however, and... More

In June 2014, fine hotel, cosy, nothing to complain about, the location, the rooms, the staff, the CHAT travel agent, all good, I wish we stayed more than one night, the buffet food was good , the room area was good, the bathrooms really nice.

My son and I stayed at the Amalia Olympia on our recent coach tour of Greece. It is a very good hotel, caught in a bit of a time warp no doubt but it is a good solid choice nonetheless. The grounds are beautiful. The staff are wrm and friendly. The food was pretty good and the pub was conveniently... More

This hotel is like all Amalia hotels -constructed and formerly run by the Greek tourist organisation as deluxe hotels-, of great architectural interest. Care has been taken so that, in spite of its renovation, it still looks like the 70s establishment that was once considered among the best in Greece- in the lobby you might feel as a time traveller....
