The location is nice but really in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is an architectura must see with an excellent (and I want to emphasize that) pool area as designed by a famous Greek architect, Nikos Valsamakis (the whole hotel is his design). Room and hotel internal decoration were very poor, wrong and cheap choices are in contrast with... more

Excellent hotel, fully renovated and with very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The room was spacious and delightfully decorated. Our room had a great view of palamidi castle that was all lit up at night. The swimming pool was fantastic with crystal clear water and the buffet dinner was delicious and had a nice... more

We visited this hotel for the weekend. The reception area is well-decorated, but the rooms are rather disappointing. They don't have a view of the sea, nor of the castle 'Palamidi', they are both too far away, you need binoculars to see them! The receptionist told us our room look onto the gardens, but in reality the hotel is in... more

Ι stayed there with my husband for one day last weekend. I asked for our room to have a balcony and I was astonished to find out that all the balconies are shared, this means that 2 rooms that are the one next to each other have the same balcony (a very small one). So we decided to take a... more

I stayed here overnight whilst on a tour of Greece. Our room was large and newly decorated. The pool was very clean and large enough for a proper swim. The food was good with a reasonable selection at both the buffet dinner and breakfast. The only downside to this hotel is that it is outside the town so unless you... more

Easy access from the main road and service is good. The public spaces are grand and nice but he room decor, beds, bathrooms are old, run down and uncomfortable. Certainly doesn't convey the feel of the beautiful town of Nauplia. more

It was not my most exciting hotel stay, but it was decent and clean. The beds, as usual, were hard. I am not a very picky person, so I can't say that I found anything wrong with the place. We could not go to town because it is too far away unless you are driving. The food was acceptable and... more

Typical Amalia hotel - large hotel with well appointed common areas, needs a bit of improving on the bedrooms, well suited for larger groups. The bathroom was excellent but the room itself showed some age. Far from city centre, large safe parking space, patchy breakfast, corteous staff. For a few extra euros and some lead-time, you should find yourself a... more
