We stayed here on our own night stay in Olympia. The service was impeccable! Theodore, the owner, met us on the street to greet us, told us all about the town, gave us directions, took the time to give us recommendations and answered all questions we had in an eager and polite manner. Rooms were clean and location is perfect.... More

We loved staying at Pelops. The rooms are very big, especially for Europe. The owners are amazing. The breakfast with home made jams and fresh yogurt were lovely. Location is right in the heart of the cute Ancient Olympia town. We came to take part in the cooking classes - and they were the highlight of our trip. We felt... More

We stayed here one night in January. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, with facilities for making coffee and tea. The proprietor was very helpful in recommending a place to eat dinner (many restaurants are shut this time of year) and in sending us to see the newly opened Archimedes Museum. The ancient site and museum are within walking distance... More

Good location within half mile of museum and Olympia archeological site, level walk.. Quiet, no traffic noise. Good breakfast {except for coffee} and Madame's home-cured olives are superb .Dreary colors in my room furnishings. Although clean, shower was rickety and mildewed, no bar soaps, only wall-mounted foam dispenser. Huge comfortable double bed at single rates, good reading light.. Amenities were... More

This is a lovely, family-run hotel in easy walking distance of the archaeological site and museum in Olympia. Spacious rooms, very clean & bright. Excellent breakfast. The owners speak perfect English and are very helpful with info about everything you need to know.

Reserved in August for mid October, confirmed. Received an email the day before saying their was something wrong with one of their rooms and they had "upgraded" us to a neighboring hotel at the same rate. I know for a fact a Rick Steves group was staying there the same night, so it's clear we got bounced. At least they... More

Mr Nick F (nvf118) first and foremost please allow us to correct you on your following statement " I know for a fact a Rick Steves group was staying there the same night, so it's clear we got bounced." Unfortunately we do not work with Rick Steves groups, although this is something we would really like. If you could please... More

This hotel is more a mansion-like big house, with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The service is helpful and caring, the rooms are spacious and contain large beds: very comfortable! The hotel is situated close to the mainstreet and church (no bells, except on Sunday morning) and is ca 800 m from the archeological site and Olympia museum. For Wi-Fi we... More

Simple hotel with very clean and relatively large room, very friendly staff, extensive and good breakfast, enough space for parking just in front of the hotel. You can walk to the ancient, restaurants are just around the corner, but around the hotel it is very silent. Perfect hotel to see the antic Olympia!

We booked a room in the morning and we arrived in the late afternoon. The hotel is not so far from the ancient site (10 minutes walk). The room was modern, confortable, very clean, the A/C silent. We enjoyed a good breakfast. A very good place to stay.

Clean, simple, efficient good hotel. We had two twin beds that were a bit hard but good. Breakfast was not included and we did not try it (we had a dinner buffet in a hotel down the road). The town has a lot of shops but you can do most sightseeing with a one night stay. The town of nafplio... More
