The hotel has a convenient location as it is just off of the main street in a town that isn't that big to begin with. The hotel is clean enough, and there is nothing necessarily wrong with it, but there is nothing great about it either. The rooms are plain, and remember it is a family run hotel. This provides... Recommended by George at Pytho Hotel in Delphi, we booked a night here for our time in Olympia. Arrived late in the afternoon and parked under the lemon tree growing in the front of the hotel. Location is within walking of everything in town. Rooms are clean, very basic and air conditioning wasn't the greatest, but room temperature was fine... More

Very comfortable stay. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Rooms could use a few repairs (broken shower head, broker hair dryer). The breakfast was marvelous. Watch out for the REALLY LOUD BELLS at the church across the street early on a Sunday morning! lol Don't plan on sleeping in!

Our stay at Hotel Pelops was very comfortable! The rooms were fairly spacious. There was lots of variety at the hotel's breakfast, including delicious orange jam that we found out was homemade! The family that runs the hotel was very friendly as well. Fun fact: Mr. Spiliopolous was actually a torch bearer for the Olympics twice.

The location was great, you can walk to any of the ancient sites or museums from the hotel. The room was subpar but you are doing something wrong if you are in the room more than just to sleep. I highly recommend their sister hotel, Hotel Europa for dinner at sunset. There is a great view but you may need... More

We (two couples) spend one night there to visit Archea Olympia. The rooms are very tidy and clean, the Spiliopolous-Family is very friendly, helpful and hospitable, and the archaeological site ist nearby. It was a great trip! We arrived in the afternoon and visited the museum, so we were very best prepaired for the magical ancient Olympia.

Thanks to Theo and Sue for a great stay. The room was great, the hospitality was brilliant and the food delicious. Great value for money and really close to all the sites. Also appreciated that the staff were fluent in English and really knowledgable about the local area.

We spent one night at Pelops to visit Archea Olympia early in the morning. Unfortunately, the site was closed because it was easter. So we took time to enjoy our room. Nice room with big bathroom. Great breakfast. The owner invited us to eat and drink with his family to celebrate easter. This is the greec hospitality. Despite we didn't... More

Theodore made us very welcome so much so that we stayed an extra night. His advice about visiting Olympia (and the local map) was invaluable. He was also able to tell us about other sites (ancient Messine) which we would not have thought of visiting. A wonderful host. Our room was clean and spacious and also quiet.

The hotel is located in town, which is convenient. We did NOT have any hot water to take a shower with at night. We did not appreciate that! Our room was located across the street from a daycare or school for small children. Very noisy. The owner of the hotel was a VERY nice man that offered great ideas of... More
