Our stay at Hotel Pelops was very comfortable! The rooms were fairly spacious. There was lots of variety at the hotel's breakfast, including delicious orange jam that we found out was homemade! The family that runs the hotel was very friendly as well. Fun fact: Mr. Spiliopolous was actually a torch bearer for the Olympics twice.

The location was great, you can walk to any of the ancient sites or museums from the hotel. The room was subpar but you are doing something wrong if you are in the room more than just to sleep. I highly recommend their sister hotel, Hotel Europa for dinner at sunset. There is a great view but you may need... More

We (two couples) spend one night there to visit Archea Olympia. The rooms are very tidy and clean, the Spiliopolous-Family is very friendly, helpful and hospitable, and the archaeological site ist nearby. It was a great trip! We arrived in the afternoon and visited the museum, so we were very best prepaired for the magical ancient Olympia.

Thanks to Theo and Sue for a great stay. The room was great, the hospitality was brilliant and the food delicious. Great value for money and really close to all the sites. Also appreciated that the staff were fluent in English and really knowledgable about the local area.

We spent one night at Pelops to visit Archea Olympia early in the morning. Unfortunately, the site was closed because it was easter. So we took time to enjoy our room. Nice room with big bathroom. Great breakfast. The owner invited us to eat and drink with his family to celebrate easter. This is the greec hospitality. Despite we didn't... More

Theodore made us very welcome so much so that we stayed an extra night. His advice about visiting Olympia (and the local map) was invaluable. He was also able to tell us about other sites (ancient Messine) which we would not have thought of visiting. A wonderful host. Our room was clean and spacious and also quiet.

The hotel is located in town, which is convenient. We did NOT have any hot water to take a shower with at night. We did not appreciate that! Our room was located across the street from a daycare or school for small children. Very noisy. The owner of the hotel was a VERY nice man that offered great ideas of... More

Nice breakfast, good location, large room with good shower. A small but nice patio. Heating ducts or ? something was a bit noisy in the middle of the night, but might have been just my room. Also across from a small preschool so plan accordingly.

Hotel owners lived up to their reputation for great hospitality. Although on the edge of town well within walking distance of all attractions--we never moved the car once we arrived. Had a family room which was great. The shower doors were flimsy but everything else about the building was first class. Breakfast was fair.

The staff at the Pelops Hotel was very helpful in suggesting strategies for visiting the archeological sites as well as restaurant recommendations. We stayed here two nights but felt that one night would have been adequate for our visit to Olympia. The breakfast was good and included in the price of the room. The carpets in the hallways could use... More
