The family-owned and managed La Petite Planete is a treasure. We have stayed on each of our visits to the Peloponnese. It is located at the foot of the acropolis of Ancient Mycenae, with a stunning view of those mountains and the Argolid plains. From here one can explore all of Argos and beyond. As it is only a few... More

The hotel is located just between the little (sleepy...) town and the archeological site. It's an older building, but clean and spacious. A lot of parking space and a nice size pool (with shaded sunbeds) The rooms are basic, but you have everything you need. Bathrooms are refurbished some years ago and are very clean. What making it special are... More

OK, if TripAdvisor gave a hotel rating six maximum stars I would ask for a seventh to rate La Petite Planete. Management is in the fourth generation run by two sisters. Father and mother are still active also. They are the nicest family and have plenty of good advice. The hotel is old. The rooms are basic. The swimming pool... More

It is hard to find negatives when reviewing La Petite Planete. But let's get them over with first. It's true that this idiosyncratic little hotel (its founder was inspired by Saint-Exupéry's Le Petit Prince to give it its curious name) isn't easy to find unless you have directions, because the website doesn't have a map. The rooms are a touch... More

All the positives you read in the other reviews about this delightful hotel are true. My wife and i have just returned from Greece and stayed 3 unforgettable days at this place. Vassiliki and her family were the warmest of hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome, the food, the place, everything.....all 5+ star!

A wonderful welcome by charming hosts who were attentive to our every need . Beautiful views and incomparable food. We stayed at this hotel last year and came back especially at the start of a lovely holiday in the Peloponnese to spend a night here. We can only suggest that you try it yourselves!

Delightful people,e good rooms, splendid terrace with huge view. The food was easily the best we had in Greece and extraordinarily modest in price. Very close to the main attraction. No credit cards, take cash..

Everything was perfect. Our room over-looking the valley and mountains was spectacular. Vassiliki and her family were excellent hosts--you feel like family. The breakfast and dinners were very tasty; homemade and in ample quantities. Capping off a great trip was the proximity to Epidavros, Mycenea, Nemea and Nafplio. Vassiliki's knowledge of the area ensures you don't miss any good archeological... More

I stayed at the La Petite Planete for 5 days in 2012 years ago and returned for 8 days in April, 2014. I love this hotel and will be returning for a third visit in 2016. In 30 years of business travel and 40+ years of extensive personal travel, I have stayed at well over 1,000 different hotels. This is... More

This was our first hotel in our most recent trip to Greece this April. We arrived on Monday of the Holy Week. We were struck by the friendliness and warmth of the hostess (Vassiliki)! The room was comfortable and clean. The view from our wondow of the open space of olive groves and forests was spectacular. The breakfast was excellent!... More
