The hotel is very near the centre of Vathi, close to shops, bus-stop and harbour. The brochures show something that it is not very close to reality. The hotel, the infrastructure, needs a good make-over, especially the bathrooms. It is, though, a three-star hotel, but you expect some quality. Breakfast is average in quality, but the staff is really helpful. The... More

Last June we went to the island of Samos for the second time and stayed on recomendation at the Paradise Hotel in Samos town. We loved the hotel which is very clean, and the staff were friendly both at reception and in the restaurant, where we had very nice breakfasts. The hotel is very quiet and has a lovely garden... I've been to this hotel twice, the 2nd time the wine festival was on and we couldn't find a hotel, we went to the 'paradise' the owners remembered us and very kindly went out there way to accommodate us. For the price you pay, it's good value. Average breakfast , rooms ok clean enough , I like the location, your... More

Plenty of people had something to compain about when reviewing this hotel. Yes, it is older. But when you take 2500BC as your yardstick, then 1975AD is seriously cutting edge, man. Anyway, it all worked, nothing was broken. And yes, breakfast was not a highly varied feast, but it was all there: the cereal, the egg, the toast (that dry... More

The people who run the hotel were very nice and helpful but the hotel was very run down and not in a great location. I felt the towels were a bit threadbare and our air conditioning did not work. There was a big drunken brawl outside of our hotel room in the corridor that went on for almost an hour... More

We decided to visit Samos and the agent suggested this hotel, close to town. It was a nice hotel, very clean. But really in poor and old furnishing. It was excactly like 80's apartnents. The reception ladies were very helpful and polite, always smiling! There was no wifi internet at all, nowhere in the hotel, just a pc in the... More

As my wife has just said "no-one is more picky than us". The hotel is clean, there is no mold, the sheets and towels were clean. Yes, the furniture is old and the breakfast is repetitive and the aircon dodgy. However - it is a two star hotel! You get what you pay for and for the price of the... More

Since it was an unplanned short holiday we did not have too many options in selecting a hotel of our liking! Paradise Hotel was far from it's name! It is completely outdated, you feel like you've stepped to the 70's; the door did not fit exactly in its place. The breakfast buffet was less than standard so we had to... More

Stayed here for 1 week the 16th June. Hotel was very clean and any problems were sorted immediately. Note if you plan to stay in hotel other than July or August Thomson do not pay for air con so worth considerating when booking, must say we had a very hot week and the hotel were very good and gave us... I am a Travel Agent and believe in being totally honest about where I have stayed be it good or bad. On arrivial at the Paradise the first impression is a little negative as you approach it sideways on directly from a road. The pathway through the garden was a little unkept but then the temperature was touching the high... More
