The hotel is very well situated in Molyvos on fairly level ground. It was very quiet especially at night. Air conditioning was available but not needed. The owners and staff did all they could to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was of very good quality, continental in nature. We like cereals so we bought some bowls and provided our... more

We stayed at the Amfitriti hotel for a week in August. This was our first holiday abroad without the children. We chose to stay at the Amfitriti as it was in a convenient location for all amenieties i.e beach, resort centre, bus stop. This was indeed an accurate description. As expected the standard of accomodation in Greece is not as... more

As other reviewers have noted, this property is well-situated. It is within walking distance from the village centre, very close to the beach (although there are better options if you rent a car or scooter), and views will be great if you get a room with a balcony overlooking the castle (few people get that, but we did!). The hotel... more

Stayed at the Amfitriti for a week at the end of June 07. It is in an excellant position and has a lovely peaceful garden and pool. There was never a problem getting a sun bed and plenty of shade under the olive trees. The Hotel itself was typically greek, plane and simple but clean. The rooms were basic but... more

We have recently returned from a holiday on the island of Lesvos. The town of Molyvos is a gem, so quiet and peaceful, the only blot is the cars and motor bikes on the main road. Within this gem is the hotel Amfitriti, a quiet hideaway close to the pebble beach. It is light and airy, clean with lovely views... more

The Amfrititi has an excellent location, well within walking distance to both beach (pebble) and the town (excellent, excellent places to eat!) A pretty hotel, very cool with a lovely garden. Down a quiet street, although there was an amount of noise from the near by open air cinema which did cause two sleepless nights. The rooms and bathrooms are... more

We chose this hotel carefully: stone's throw from the beach, short stroll to the little town, a swimming pool, peaceful garden. It turned out to be everything we could have wanted. Welcoming owners and an oasis of green, & nearly all rooms with a lovely view. Breakfast basic but more than adequate. The memory of the view of the old... more

We first found the Amfitriti Hotel in May 2000 and had such a fun and wonderful time with the owners Menelaos and Thelpi and their family that we returned the year after for our honeymoon. Thelpi had decorated our room with rose petals, wine and fruits as a honeymoon welcome and once again our stay was made extra special by... more

The proprietors of Amfitriti, Molyvos - Menelaos and Thelpi - are the friendliest hosts we've ever stayed with. The hotel is beautifully located near to the sea in a picturesque road and the glorious garden and pool are the envy of most passers-by, holidaymaker or local. The hospitality is simple but of the highest standard; the only holiday/hotel combination we've... more

We've just spent 2 weeks at the Amfitriti in Molyvos. Molyvos is paradise, sadly however, the Amfitriti is not! The owners must be the least friendly Greeks alive, the bar is simply an extension of the family home and not a comfortable place for guests as the TV is on so loudly that the family shout at each other. The... more
