Upon a recent trip to Greece we flew in and out of Thessaloniki airport a few times. The airport location of the Golden Star was helpful in starting and ending our trip. The ride into Thessaloniki by bus was a little long but manageable and we enjoyed touring the city. Excellent staff, great value and a location right on the beach. Breakfast was awesome, so much choice. Nothing too much trouble for the hotel. well done and see you again. more

A nice hotel at the sea side with all facilities you need, friendly staff, great room with wonderful sea view, shops and airport nearby so it was a good choice for my last evening in Greece and an early flight in the morning. (even breakfast was ready at about 6:30) more

The hotel was nice, but fairly basic, didn't feel like 4*. The rooms were simple with bed, tv and bathroom. My room had a view on the carpark, but I suppose that couldn't be helped.
