The rooms are very poor and not sanitized. All the furniture very old and dusty.its not worth the money even for one night. The walls require a refresh and the bathroom needs to be restored immediately and sanitized.

Great staff, comfy bed. Large people may struggle with tiny bathroom. Good WiFi. Breakfast of juice, tea, coffee, cereal, pastries, fresh bread, spreads, ham and cheese, yogurt. Would stay again. Close to everything.

I stayed 4 nights with some friends, visiting Thessaloniki primarily for shopping and nightlife, for which the hotel was ideal. The service is good - the staff is friendly and helpful. And the location is more or less as good as it gets. Located at Egnatia, one of the main streets, within a few hundred metres of restaurants, nightclubs and... More

I had fresh towels and sheets every day. Breakfast is not so reach but everything is fresh. Cofe is tasty:) Reception is very attentive and girls... More

In June 2014 our party of 12 rented 5 rooms in the Madrino Hotel for our stay in Thessaloniki. The location proved fine for us; we could walk to restaurants and shopping, and the most popular tourist sights. The rooms were certainly adequate, not large, with a balcony. For the price and location, we would stay there again. By all... More

Considering the price for one night stay in a big city as Thessaloniki, this hotel is more than OK. We were very pleased with the personnel, the location and the safe underground parking. However, only few remarks: only 1 small elevator for 8 floors is too little, and if You want a good night sleep - You can forget it...it... More

The hotel does not have anything special in particular.Generally it is old. And old is the room and bathroom as well. However, it is clean which very important. Aristotelous square is veru close and you can find many shops. I stayed there for three nights with my bf and it was ok for us because the price was really low.... More

There are two interesting hotels in the same region of most central boulevard in Thessaloniki - Egnatia: Mandrino and El Greco. Both of them have the same problem with the parkings (even El Greco have some places, I never found one free). So the parking is several meters near the hotel in a several underground levels private parking. Small rooms,... More
