Stayed there unexpectedly as I missed a train connection from the airport. The Hotel is conveniently nextto the Railway Station but the area is run down and feels eerie in the night (due to the financial crisis many shops and services are closed down and the neighborhood is now dark and deserted) The rooms are clean and comfortable and the... Dear Guest, We wish you had the time to see the area in the morning and find out that it is the business center of the city, full of life, businesspeople, companies, banks, estate buildings, police stations, court house and of course the rail way station. As you mention, you arrived at the hotel without reservation. We kindly inform you... More

We visited Saloniki, Mount Olympus, Meteora Monastries, The Halkidiki Peninsula, and the Lutraki Springs using the Capsis Hotel in Thessaloniki as our base. The Hotel served its purpose as a bed sitting hotel and we only had an adequate breakfast there. The rooms were nice and large and comfortable and the free WiFi worked well. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

I was surprised by how this huge hotel paid attention to detail and exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing - the Capsis Salad is a must and the breakfast was great. I feared the economy room would be a shoebox and it was very nice and comfortable. The room felt new, loved the modern glass sink, overall great value... More

Capsis Hotel in Thessaloniki is my least favorable hotel during my extensive trip to Greece. The condition of Capsis Hotel needs a prompt improvement. The carpets in the room and hallway are stained. The room requires an immediate renovation due to outdated look. The towels could have used some bleaching. The bed sheet is unclean. In a few words, I... More

this hotel was chosen by our tour company. We stayed 2 nights and found it to be more than adequate for our needs. The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful. The location was great for getting around to restaurants in the area. If we were out on our own, we would choose it too.

Returned last week from a vacation stay at the hotel, generally impressed with the renovations to the rooms. The staff were warm and friendly and seemed efficient. There can be a little noise because of the location, but nothing dramatic (except at 'rush hour'). We had one small complaint about the bar meal we had ( both courses delivered at... More

We stayed at the Capsis for one week last month and enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful in planning our activities and giving us directions, maps, etc.

Nice hotel, good service, good mattress, but it is very noisy because it is one of the main streets. Not suitable for rest because of the noise and another disadvantage that there is not enough parking in the guarded parking Otherwise, the rooms are nice and spacious
