Well, been there as a family. The hotel is very big, and located somehow bear the city center, but keep in mind that going by foot can take a while. There are a lot of construction yards, probably metro line, so it is not easy. The stuff is friendly, nothing to comment there. The breakfast has a lot of options,... More

I have stayed at this hotel on one of my reoccurring visits in Thessaloniki for the International Fair. Its a nice hotel that delivers what it promises. Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a very good connection to the city center although not that close. Free WiFi is a plus. Overall would stay here again .

I stayed in Capsis Hotel during my last business trip in Thessaloniki. My choice proved me right, as the hotel personnel was really friendly. The rooms have a modern decoration and there is also a TOP roof garden in the hotel. Special reference to the delicious Greek-style breakfast of the hotel!

This hotel is perfect is you are looking for a one to two nights getaway. Situated within working distance to the main square, and a 5 minute walk to the bus station, Capsis Hotel is lovely, fresh, modern and capable of handling your every need. The roof top pool is a must for anyone who wouldn't mind a dip, or... More

The location of the hotel is miserable. It's in an awful spot full of dust and emptiness. Inside, the hotel hallways are filled with a dirty old red carpet that seems to be the original carpet from the 1970's. It's not worth the price, Maja R claims it's modern, yeah back in 1975 maybe. The reception desk staff were very... More

Dear Guest, Further to your review, we kindly inform you that back in the 70's the floors of the hotel were grey. The red carpet in new and the housekeeping dpt. is vacuuming (biological cleaning) it every day. Furthermore, according to the evaluation of our guests, our hotel has the highest score (10) for the cleanliness of the public areas... More

We stayed one night at this hotel. We chose it because of it's convenient location close to the bus & railway station which is only 5min walk from the hotel. Even though our one night stay was ok I cannot recommend it because it is seriously outdated! All of the public spaces are from the 80's and nothing has been... More

Dear Guest, Further to your review, we kindly inform you that Capsis is a classical hotel with artistic, business and leisure profile and the last renovation of the public areas of the hotel took place in December 2013. In addition, the modern murals that decorate the main lobby area, were painted in 2014. As far as it concerns the pool... More

Our experience with this hotel is positive. The sales staff and room staff were very helpful in fufilling our request and making even last minute changes. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent. However, most of the room air-conditioning apparatus were very weak. It took a long time to cool the rooms. One of our guest room had a non-fuctioning... More

The hotel is clean, modern, big and very well located - 10 minute walk to the Aristotelous square. Swimming pool a bit small, but with fantastic view. Great breakfast with variety of choices...The only minus is sofa bed where kids slept, very uncomfortable and deformed of use.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. It is large (and I mean large!) and is located on Via Egnatia. This road was built by the Romans to link Dyrracchium (Durres in Albania) with Byzantium (destined to become Constantinople, and later Byzantium again, and later Istanbul). At the moment major works on this road have been stopped (austerity measures?)... More

We enjoyed our 3 nights here in July. The hotel is modern and clean with air conditioning that works well. The pool area is nice but the water could be kept up better. Still it was essential to have a place to cool off from the summer heat! About a 15 minute walk from the main tourist area of the... More
