After a long and very pleasant road up to Salonic, we stay one night at this hotel. We have booked a 4 people room that on the web site was with two separated rooms, not all the beds in the same room. It doesn't look at all like in pictures, but it is clean... The hotel is about 15 min... More

We have booked this hotel for one-night stand on the way back home. The main reason was the fact that the hotel own a garage and we did not want to unpack our car. The internet presentation looked really decent, but we experienced a big shock. The room was dirty, with torn wallpapers and curtains that I could not even... More

The good parts for this hotel are the private underground parking and the good enough location, also the very nice open buffet breakfast. Also the staff at the reception were ok, gave us a map and sufficient indications for a visit of the city center. The bad part is that the rooms and the entire place is pretty used up... More

This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Some of the rooms are outdated and simple, which is alright if it were kept clean. The wallpaper in the corner is peeling off due to a leak, and there is a lingering odor of sweat. Breakfast is fine. I do not recommend this hotel.

When we arrived to the hotel we did not expect much, but from the second we entered, we where overwhelmed by the grate service of all the staff! The reception workers where full of information and good tips to make the most out of our stay. We spent 6 nights in the hotel and felt comfturable to ask for anything!... More

This hotel had Metro renovations going on when we stayed so it was difficult to get in and out of. It is a little walk to the waterside & downtown facilities. The lifts were minute and only 2 people could get in with small luggage. The back rooms were quiet but looked onto backs of concrete apartments.

Insanely mislead on the website.. Newly refurbished-lie..old bed, old carpet, old stained curtains, old everything. Really just yuck and dirty. Air conditioning-not working. Start of summer 35°c heat and it doesn't work. Greeeat, informed the reception that unit was not working. Were told someone would come up and check. Come back from dinner a few hours later. Air conditioning still... More

I've stayed with a group at the Vergina a number of times as it's conveniently located, has friendly staff and plenty of rooms. The decor lacks character and needs considerable refurbishment, but rooms and linen are clean and everything works.

I decided to book a room in this hotel for a weekend trip in Thessaloniki. Some things helped me in making this decision: it’s close to the railway station – walking distance, or if you want, one bus station; it’s close to downtown – 10 or 15 minutes walking; easy connection to public transportation; not very expensive. Our room was... More
