We've just stayed at this magnificent hotel in Thessaloniki last week. I would label our stay as perfect. The hotel location is unsurpassed right in the downtown next to Aristotle Square. We had a corner room and even though it was above a street full of cafes and restaurants packed with people, we barely heard their noise Above all the... More

We loved everything about the Excelsior, its wonderful, efficient, helpful and friendly staff; our spacious, comfortable and well equipped bedroom; the delightful public rooms and its location. It is just a two minute walk from both the sea front and from Aristotelous Square and only about five minutes from the Ladadika restaurant area. We were given a bottle of wine... More

We likes the location, the friendly welcome and great service throughout our stay. The breakfast room on the roof terrace was a delight. We were disappointed by the deluxe room which had a "courtyard" view, which was really a rather uninspiring and rather ugly back of the building overlooking other pipes and ventilation shafts. The room was also on the... More

It's very simple: The Excelsior offers everything one would expect from a 5* hotel - a great location, a beautiful property, a stylish design, and a fantastic service quality. We had a terrific stay there and we would be pleased to come back on our next visit to Thessaloniki.

We stayed one night in Excelsior, in March 2015 and we frankly couldn't have hoped for a better experience! Lovely, modern and clean room, attention to detail (e.g. two types of robes light & heavy), friendly & professional service. Great location too, as it's a 2 minutes walk to the beautiful Aristotelous square. The breakfast was served in a charming... More

I had a bit of difficulty in finding the hotel because I missed the car sent by the hotel to pick me up due to some delay in finding my baggage lost by Lufthansa en route from Frankfurt...However, once I got there everyone was so helpful in getting my lost luggage back and making me feel very comfortable....Thank you everyone... I frequently stay in the Excelsior while working in Thessaloniki and haven't a bad word to say about it. The service is impeccable, the food is tasty, the rooms are bright and clean and the location couldn't be better. Above all, the level of all services they provide is consistently high. Thoroughly recommended

Hotel Excelsior, Thessaloniki There is no doubt about it, this is a very good hotel. Whether it is quite so good as it thinks it is, I am not really sure. Our experience there was not entirely free from the sort of little niggles that, while minor enough, we would not really expect to encounter in a hotel which has... More

If you are looking for a top-notch experience, this could be the place to stay in Thessaloniki. The service, rooms, breakfast and facilities (mezzanine lounge for business meeting) all ooze quality. The location is excellent, in the heart of the very vibrant city. The hotel managed to provide an excellent experience, which started well before the stay (email requests), was... More

We stayed for 3 nights, the service was superb, rooms are contemporary, complimentary wine, water and chocolate truffles in the rooms, rooms have high ceilings, two kinds of robes (one light and the other heavy terry towel) in the rooms, it is on a busy street but once you place the door on the balcony you hear nothing. This hotel... More
