The best view in town. Very good room facilities and very good for couples. Inside hammams are the best. Not very good hotel restaurant but you can tried. The breakfast is very good and you have great choices.

The building has been renovated keeping the actual characteristics of its time. holy feeling at a very peacefull envoirenment . You can enjoy the hammam treatment or use the library and a nice dinner with the harbour view. No kids allowed.

Visiting Imaret is an extraordinary experience on its own right. Imaret is much more than a luxurious boutique hotel, it is a historical and architectural monument!!! An absolute must for a visitor to Kavala and Northern Greece in general.

The Imaret is one of our favorite places to visit, we go there every year and will go again this Oct. It's peaceful, tranquil, full of history. Every room is unique and the entire hotel is immaculately decorated and hosts an Islamic garden with plants, fountains and a wonderful cistern to lounge in. The owners and staff are impeccable. They... More

This was an incredible magical experience, almost travelling into an era of ultimate splendor. The restoration was carefully done and service was impeccable, the rooms were beyond luxury reflecting some older traditions like washing your feet before getting to bed. All the amenities were thought after and most of the products in the rooms were brand names. Once we checked... More

The location of the place is amazing. They have to improve the food and be more respectfull to their customers. When they served us the one of the two main courses the food was cold and stale. The only good thing from this dinner night it was the location of the restaurant and the city view.

I had more expectations! At a historical and so luxurious place restaurant should have a very active role! And food should be more respectful! It really needs a lot of hard work and much of imagination of behalf of the chef!!!! Food does not look or taste interesting at all

This renovated 1817 structure was built by Mehmet Ali, a local boy made good, as a token of affection for his place of birth. And he made good indeed, by becoming the ruler of Egypt and establishing a dynasty that lasted until the 1950s, when Nasser overthrew the Egyptian monarchy. The complex was originally a philanthropy establishment (Imaret means “poorhouse”... More

On two successive evenings I enjoyed a pre-dinner drink on the lovely terrace. Beautiful views, lovely service in this historic terrace. Such a lovely place to discover by chance as I walked down the hill!
