We stayed at Villa de Loulia, at room Aloysius, from 7 till 14 September 2009. The accomodation exceeded our expectations because it was very clean and quiet. On a daily basis, the room was cleaned and the bed sheets were changed. Breakfast was simple but good. We had dinner in two occasions, which was excellent both times. During short walks... more

We had arrived late, hot and tired, and our greeting from the manager was not "good evening", but "i hope you aren't going to leave your car there" . Not a great start. The rooms were hot and sticky and the owner initially couldn't be bothered to look for a fan for us as she claimed she didn't know where... more

Corfu: Villa the Loulia "Absolutely romantic and very quiet!" Date: August 30 2008. Looking for a quiet break in the sun on an island we never visited before, we ended with Elizawashere on Corfu. We met Loukia and she made us feel very welcome. I asked here by mail to surprise my girlfriend with a bouquet and a welcome card.... more

This is an expensive, badly maintained hotel run by a team that are totally disinterested in what they are doing. The first room we stayed in was fit for the dogs - smelling of damp with two single beds (made up as two single beds despite obviously beeing a couple) the beds creaked whenever one moved, no air conditioning and,... more

i went with my boyfriend last week it was amazing we booked the hotel through Yadeshotels.gr and we got a very good service from the sales people there. We were worried because the hotel is under the label "historic", however the sales people in yades did a very detailed presentation via phone so it was like we were already there... more

My husband and I had to work during all the summer period. Staying at Villa de Loulia during our autumn vacations was absolutely compensating… The village is quiet and unspoiled. The hotel is magnificent and the service just incredible. The garden with all its colours and scents offers complete relaxation and the pool is absolutely amazing. Our room had an... more

Few days ago we return from our trip in Corfu. We stayed in Villa de Loulia and it was just wonderful. Amazing place. I really disagree with the other review. The service was unique. It was the friendliest service that we have ever seen. My wife and I, we travel a lot and it is something that we don’t say... more

This place looked fabulous on the internet and only seemed to have received positive reviews, which is amazing, so we went with high expectations. And whilst the historic property did look like we imagined, I couldn't help being disappointed by several things. Firstly, nobody mentions that being in the heart of the village on the edge of the main road,... more

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Corfu and spent the last two nights at Villa de Loulia. It was just perfect; from the congenial but not overbearing hosts, to the fantastic home cooking, airy elegant rooms and the beautiful gardens. It's even more lovely than the internet photos suggest. The perfect place to unwind. 11 out of... more

The Villa de Loulia is a 200 year old mansion, which has been sympathetically and elegantly transformed into a 9-bedroom hotel. The setting, in a timeless village just a short stroll from a delightful beach complete with fabulous clifftop bar, is a million miles away from the touristy side of Corfu. The Villa itself, complete with a good-sized pool in... more
