We booked to stay at the San Stefano as a last minute holiday at the end of the British School Holidays. It was absolutely fantastic! So yes, the hotel rooms are a little bit dated, but they were cleaned meticulously every day, fresh bed linen, fresh towels and the public areas were immaculate. We checked in on the morning of... more

We have visited San Stefanos NW Corfu for the last 8 years. We always stay in the Leonidas Villas, which are like little bungalows. Larger than the average villas. They are extremely clean, lovely fresh white sheets and linen provided. Cupboards are very well stocked with all varieties of crockery and glass ware. Simone, our courier, lives on site and... more

Arrived at San Stefano in the middle of the night - the journey from the airport was fun, in a taxi on the twisty roads - but the hotel was up a steep hill in the dark....... We expected to have to wait for a room, but were booked straight in with no fuss. In the morning, a fabulous view... more

We went here on a last minute deal, paid about £350.00 for a week (AI). The Hotel is very dated, it looks like it hasn't been decorated since the 70's/80's and the lifts were shocking although they did work. The first room we were given was pretty disgusting, the Hotel itself doesn't look too bad it's just in dire need... more

We returned earlier this week after a week of staying at the San Stefano, I have to say that we were disappointed to be coming home having really enjoyed our stay there. The hotel rooms are far from luxurious as stated in other reviews so please don't book it if you are looking for the British 4 star standard. The... more

IN One Word - FANTASTIC!!!!!! Despite previous reviews to the contrary this place is fantastic, lovely hotel, views, staff and food. There is entertainment on throughout the day from kids clubs and many different activities/competitions varying from waterpolo to table tennis plus evening entertainment. There are three small and I mean very small downsides sometimes activities struggled to cater for... more

We usually have a very active holiday and hire a car etc but not this year because we were at the San Stefano Hotel and there was no desire to do anything but stay there. Weather was gorgeous, views were breathtaking, food was brilliant. Our younger son had just turned diabetic before we went on holiday and the staff were... more

All I can say is.............Fantastic, what a great place, it looked a bit dated but the rooms we had (which were the bungalows near the pool) were clean and well maintained and the air con was worked well. The various staff were always polite and gave the impression that had there been any problems (which there weren't) that they would... more

Was here 30th Aug-6th sep04 to san stefano booked online. First impression was the decor in the rooms was similar to a scene from 70's starsky and hutch old fashioned furniture plain but simple but was spacious and very clean, the maids clean every day. The food is a buffet style help yourself. I went all inclusive. Evening meals were... more

Went to the San Stefano early October 2003. The hotel itself was clean with a fantastic pool and the best panoramic views. The staff were very friendly and did all they could to help (especially Costas on the reception at night!). The rooms were a bit old fashioned (very 80's throwback) but who spends all holiday in the room anyway!!... more
