I took my wife here for a well-earned end of year break but ended up being rather disappointed. The hotel has a great reputation in Greece but I believe that this maybe from the 80's! I have to agree with most of what the previous reviewer had to say. But we stayed in the new building with view on the pool. The room was large but standardt but bathroom was great, marble and well equipped. Beds are uncomfortable like most beds in Greece. We loved the food! This would be the best hotel in Euboea (and one of the best in Greece) if they were more careful with the service. Historical restored building (19th century) with many famous guests in the past (Onassis, Callas, Garbo...) and one of the best thermal spas in Europe. Located in Edipsos takes advantage of the very good quality hot thermal springs.... more
